what strength nutes should i used to foliar feed? using DM penetrator as well i tried it at 700 ppm (1lt from the nute tank premixed and 1lt plain water) with the recommended dose of DM penetrator (20ml per litre) did this and repeated 2 days after. a few days later i noticed discolouration around the top canopy (particular new growth) of a kind i have never seen before i have foliar fed at 700 ppm before withough DM penetrator with no problems like this should u use a lower dose nute mix with DM penetrator (or is the DM penetrator a shit product and should i just not use it!) thanks Last reply by keepleft,

Hi team, I am using an autopot system, dutch master advanced nutes, 250W MH about 3 weeks veging. I did let the pH get to 7 about a week ago but have since brought it down to 6. Anyway, the outside edges of the leaves seem to be curling up and the leaves feel a little dry / brittle. I do not think it is a heat problem (has been cool here) and the light is sar enough away. The globe is new! All help appreciated! Cheers Last reply by LOGGER_KING, Last reply by LOGGER_KING,

Am i the only person in australia with invincible scarid fly? ive researched for hours on ways to kill them and ive tried EVERYthing on them. microbial is useless ive bought litres and litres of this shit but no luck. ive tried watering it several ways, like hand feed and drip feed at diff dose rate with np luck, ive even tried daily misting of the top of the media with straight microbial. i read on ostoners from luke that success drench works but after 2 drenches a week apart at 5 ml per litre that didnt work. ive tried a layer of clay balls on top also tried a layer of perlite with no luck. cutting back on feeds mesh on inlet fans sticky fly traps (dozens) under… Last reply by keepleft,

The lowest leaves on my plants are turning yellow, what does this mean?. Is it lack of Nutes?. I didn't add any nutes untill the 3rd week. I'm using Thrive at half strenth. Gave it a dose 6 days ago again just now. I hope I'm not over feeding them?. They're watered every 36-48 hours. About 100-150ml. Last reply by New Holland,

Hello all, I've got a plant problem that has me stumped so far and I'd like some assistance. My White-Skunk plant has "bleached" looking new-growth, the new leaves are not nearly as dark green and lush as the older growth. The symptom started showing itself after I transferred the plants from my 400wMH vet area to my 2x600wHPS flower-box. I originally thought it was light-bleaching, or the fact the plants were transplanted into a larger pot with a coco/perlite mix where the perlite had been washed in a strong oxy-plus solution. Unfortunately it seems I am incorrect, as the problem has been here for well over 2 weeks now and my attempts (flushing, lowering-PH to 6.0) h… Last reply by keepleft,

I've been looking through these post to try and work out if I'm over or underwatering my plants. I'm about 2 weeks into my first grow, and all the plants are growing at different rates. Some have taken forever to break through the soil. Whilst others have gone bezerk!. My largest plant has a brown tinge on the very tip of the leave. I didn't worry too much because I genrally freak out to easy and was told to chill. Well I've been trying to chill and now I'm strartin' to freak out. The edge of the leave is starting to go brown. This is only on the largest leaf and at it's etremitys. I don't know if this is from over or underwatering or lack of nutes (haven't added any … Last reply by shroomz,

hi does anyone have some pics or a resource of the signs of underwatering? i can find heaps on overwatering but not much on the other? apparently from what i have read the visual signs are quite similar (drooping leaves?) another thing i read is that plants that are overwatered will droop at the tips of the leaves and the stems stay upright? but an underwatered plant will droop both leaves and stems? thanks Last reply by keepleft,

IM using a fill and drain system. Nutes in the bottom tank and peat gravel in the top tank. My water is pumped to the top tank and I am using a PVC pipe for my water overflow. I have a clear plastic container surrounding the overflow (reason for this is, in the surrounding open space I have a counter attatched so I can track and make sure they get a drink) In the future I will use an opaque container. But the clear container has let light get to the water under the rocks. I have algae growing!!!!! Does using an areator or peroxide eliminate or kill the algae???? My water is not circulating. I know how to eliminate the problem next time but for now what will kill … Last reply by Gazza2001au, Last reply by Gazza2001au,

ok my last grow i had pythium BAD! and fungus knats too. before my latest grow i bleached everything. and i let off a mortein bomb in the room. and i have been using MICROBIAL at 1ml per litre. i also reduced my watering times substantially. 6 weeks into veg they are they best ive ever seen them. no pythium and very healthy scrog BUT i just noticed today i have scarid fly. its back. is it a big problem? ive been told that the larvae eat the roots which leads to pythium. so im doing the usual spray with mortein, drench with microbial. asuming that the microbial and reduced watering means i dont get pythium. are the scarid fly's actually that bad? im trying to … Last reply by keepleft,
