Sorry Im new and posted this in the the introductions before I had a good look around the site. Can anyone here shed some light on the columbian, acapulco gold strain we used to get in the 70's? It was "piss yellow" as we used to refer to it and had a distinct aroma, also hammered you with a couple hits. anyone able to trace the strain from then till now, does it have a more botanical name? Im quite interested in obtaining any info/samples for scientific purposes. thanks winnemucca "where else but Oz"

Hi, this is currently what I am growing.. and Id like to keep these genetics, they rock. Id like to expand and test out breeding my own seeds and am slightly unsure on what I want to mix with what. Heres a list of what I have, about to be put into flower when I stick the timer in the room.. in a few hours Most are preflowering now, at 36 days or so from seed. 8 internodes on the BDxC99/NLF seedlings so they are ready to go. 2 Clones Big Bud x NorthernLights/Flo - Not a keeper strain.. just flowering. G'day everyone Just thought it might be interesting to start a thread to see what strain everybody is growing. I thought it would be cool to be able to see what sort of variety there is here in the Ozstoner community I never get anything meaningful out of seedbank descriptions of strains - they all sound the same after a while. A bit like the spiel on wine labels. Also, not all Ozstoner members have the opportunity to discuss growing or MJ strains with other growers face to face, and therefore don't have access to first hand grower feedback on certain strains. I have this killer strain that me and my friends refer to as Marsden Skunk. Anyways Its the best damn plant Ive ever smoked BUT its very long flowering is a pain in the ass. What can I do so speed up the finish times? I thought of buying some seeds of the fastest finishing plant for sale and then growing a male of this and then just letting it pollinate the female MS plant. is this any good or a waste of time?
