High yielding potent SCROG strain?

I'm looking for a really high yielder to grow in a fairly large SCROG set up. Hydro of course. And is there anywhere to get some in Melbourne or shipped????

But I have just finished a NL#5xAK47 and its given me an awesome yeild, around 2 ozs per branch.

most plants can be scrog grown but it is true that some strains are better suited.

 

The only problem with big buds is they are more prone to mould in the middle of the bud.

 

If your after something commercial then maybe a Bigbud X Northern Lights would be good?

Ive seen many strains used in scrog..even sog strains. Admittedly sog strains seem to take a little longer to manipulate under a screen and yields can be slightly reduced...

 

Great strains for scrog are ones which grow fast during vegetative period and take a fair bit of stress. You might ask why? Because bending or crimping or even training your scrog strain under a mesh is going to promote stress to the plants. SO avoid strains which hermie easily, also avoid strains which are sativa dominant unless you have mastered the art of height control. Light penetration must be maximised and its ideal to not have your buds more than 1 foot above the mesh for best light penetration.

 

Ideal strains include Shiva Skunk, Powerplant (admittedly more a sog strain) and Rock Bud(Scrog pheno). Big Bud and BB x NL do quite well as well provided you choose the correct phenotypes
