Hello fellow stoners.I have a couple of Questions regarding Cfl's.I have switched to 12/12 on a 100w 6400K CFL and the plants seem to be sexing nicely.My Questions are do I keep them on 12/12 or switch back to 16/8 after sexing and when should I change the Light to the 100w 2700K light?I am sure these Questions have been answered else were but Funnily enough I'm too stoned to look..This is my first grow and will try and set up a grow diary after I've finished the sexing and picked out the best.

hey guys, Im about to start my 2nd grow and thinking of doing a dwc sog but using the dutch method(12/12 from seed). Being only my 2nd grow im just tasting around for any hints n tips any1 has to offer. Have many peeps had great success with this type of grow?? What major differences should 1 expect??...Will my seedlings still throw nodes or should i expect 1 punkus maximus nug?? Any help would be great, Cheers KB=]

Hi every one out there hope every thing is good. I have recentley read two grow books Marijuana growers guide by Mel Frank published in 1978 and cannabis cultavation by Mel Thomas copyright 2006. The book by Mel frank is great I have been able to fix alot of problems and have had many sucsessfull crops because of this book but the one by Mel thomas has information in there that is questionable for instance he recomends for any type of indoor grow to use 6 inch pots when i normally use 15 inch or 3 plus gallons. Also the book by Mel frank states to use 2 gallon plus after the 1st or 2nd month or the plants will get root bound. Cannabis cultavition also states that you do n…

just finished doing a setup with 2 600HPS cool lights.I have my ducting running out through vent i made but have not set up ducting for air intake as i was wandering if i left ducting off would this also take the air out of the room or would this warmer air stop my lights running as cool as they should.On the site where i order my equipment from they had an end cap with a flap going only one way so air could be drawn in but none come out but i cant see why you would use this as the air is only going to go one way while the fan is on any way.Can some one please explain these things to me.

I have a few questions on Auto's..I'm running 20 hours on 4 off for lighting is that the best lighting cycle from start to finish? Are Auto's heavy or light feeders? Would I be best to run fluro during veg and then swap to HPS or just run HPS the whole grow? Any help would be greatly appreciated cheers Buzz. Out of curiosity I will be putting one of my blueberry clones straight into 12/12 just to see what it does really. I was wondering if anyone can recommend what size pot I should use? I was thinking just a little 100mm pot but maybe that would be too small? I don't expect it will grow much roots though going straight to 12/12. They are currently in those small rockwool cubes and are just showing roots. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Naycha

Hey guys never done this havent rely seen any of it on this forum but what are your thoughts/opinions on tiping 2 week old buds, my mate was telling me when he was growing he uset to tip halve a dozon of the buds on his plants a week or 2 into flower and the buds would start normal at the bottom then get twice as fat as the ones he didnt do it to, he said they would sometimes look live love hearts.

( sorry about the title name but i want as many replys on this as i can to help us all) Hi every one just want to know what type of nutrients you all use and whats your thourts on CYCO as thay have a BIG range of nutrients ect and from what i can tell it cost more but you use a lot less but i would like to here about all of your success or all for you bad trys with any or all the nutrients that u have used thanks to all that post

Hey all, just wondering if anyone has tried the following technique and had any luck, ill start by explaining my set-up. I'm currently using 3 x 600w Hps covering an area 1.2m x 2.4m, the plants are growing in a self built flood and drain set-up in clay pebbles. Im just about to go into flowering and here comes the dilemma, Ive been considering (as i have only 2 months left untill i move) wether to try an 8/16 (light:dark) system, where by i rotate the plants, so that out of my 24 there are always 8 in the light room, and 16 in the dark room, changing over every 8 hours, sorry if thats confusing, . therefore essentially using 1.8kw of electricity to the equivalent of 3…

hi all, just wondering if anyone knows if its possible to find a way to make my bud tighter. the strain is not known for produceing very tight buds, they are still very healthy and of good size but im hoping just to tighten them up a little. i've been told that if i reduce the light by a couple of hours during the last week or so of the cycle, that it would somehow trigger the bud to tighten up. does anyone know if this true or just the ramblings of a mad man ??

Is there any certain time during the life of a plant that it is best to take clones? I was hoping that when i harvest my girls, i'd be able to take clones at the same time? Is this possible, at this time? Thanks, Melb
