Tiping 2 Week Old Buds

Hey guys never done this havent rely seen any of it on this forum but what are your thoughts/opinions on tiping 2 week old buds, my mate was telling me when he was growing he uset to tip halve a dozon of the buds on his plants a week or 2 into flower and the buds would start normal at the bottom then get twice as fat as the ones he didnt do it to, he said they would sometimes look live love hearts.

Matey just wants to smoke ya buds =), seen whole buds trimmed off later in flower, like double harvest but at two weeks is not going to work out well. Good Luck. Gh72

That much into flower it will impede the growth of the whole plant.

yea i was thinking the same as yous. but he insits the the ones he does it to get twice as fat and and weigh more than all the others besides the main cola than ones he didnt, but he also said its easy to fuck up and just kill the bud u did it to. not goin to try it well ill try it 1 day when ive got a few plants. and dont care bout destroying 1.

hi reddevil6, ive dun it u end up with 2 buds, and i tell u they were just as big as the others that i didnt tax, just tip a couple see how it goes,i always try diferent things
