Salvia divinorum 1 2 3

Usually Salvia is grown indoors because, well, most folks seem to think that it won't survive outside in a cold climate. Well, that's not totally true. This outdoor Salvia will be heading into its 4th season come this spring and as result, has survived 3 winters of -6C. If you're in a cold place like Melbourne then you can grow outdoors if sheltered under some shrubbery with an east facing position. You want it to face east so it can get morning sun. Just make sure the root stocks are 12 months old (therefore advanced) before they experience their first frost. Their foliage will blacken and die off from the frost but come the warmth of spring and new shoots will …

well i oticed happy high herbs sells an urtica of some description and it reputedly gives an interesting but short high when smoked... Now i have Urtica Incisa growing everywhere here and have collected some... heard that steaming or boiling not sure which as yet will get rid of the stinging toxins... But wondering if anyone has experience with smoking Urtica at all or even using it in salads as can apparently be done (screw that i would stress about stingers in my mouth :S)

well i am struggling to find solid info on Psychotria Alba but from what i have read it is roughly 60% as potent as viridis. can anyone verify this or point me in the right direction of where to look. I am not interested in extraction but my gnome said something about mixing with caapi for ayahuasca or some crazy word like that

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this one, this is a great little plant that I have recently been doing a lot of work with. It originates from the same mountains in Oaxaca in Mexico as Salvia. It grows quite fast and does a lot better in the ground than it does in pots. It is also known as bitter grass and boy does it deserve that name. I mean it makes peyote tea taste like the smoothest honey in comparison. The first time I tried it was to make a tea from the dried leaves, now don't get me wrong here I can handle some weird tasting brews, but I really had trouble getting this one down. I sucked on a spoon of honey for a few minutes after but it really didn't h…

In this post I will demonstrate how to propagate Calea from cuttings. To be honest taking cuttings is a pretty simple process that most of you may already know how to do. However, there are a few do's and don'ts that do differ from the average method that will give you a better success rate. As you may already know I have been working with this plant for a while now. When I first started taking cuttings I had a terrible success rate of about 50% with some simple self taught rules, I now achieve a 90% - 100% success rate. That's enough talk, now on with the process. Things you will need at hand: Secateurs, Rooting Gel (not powder) and a trusty stick for poking h…

OK, firstly I would like to apologise for the crappy picture quality, so there that's off my chest now. What we have here is a few pics of my salvia that originates from a seed grown parent in NSW. I did grow this plant quite successfully indoors under 125W CFL although I do not have any pics of this as I did not own a camera back then (over 2 years ago now). I have since been growing it in the veggie garden (outside, duh) and as a result I have lost a few of my parent plants due to the cold winters. Pics of mother plant or whats left of her. I'm currently trying to establish a few more cuttings, although I really have not been that successful with it. Here are a f…

Well this year it has been slow growing as spring temps have been slow - which is why they're only just starting from winter root stocks. Now I don't grow indoors like I used to as mj takes the space so running Salvia 365/year is no longer possible ...okay. https://cannabis.community.forums.ozstoners...showtopic=26870 So one must be patient and live within the reality of mother nature when you go outdoors. That's the circle of life folks. All good things come to those that wait. Take to another project to idle the time if you're itchy fingered. Late April is probably a good forecast. Pic is of outdoor Salvia as of 18th Dec. Cheers Orbit.

Recently purchased a product by this name from one of the online herb shops here in Austrailia.. I was somewhat scepticle by the the decription. It contains Sceletium tortuosum and Sceletium emarcidum, trouts notes(2nd edition) had no refereance to either of these products. But I thought I would try some anyway, i purchased a 0.5g pack powderd(cost $7.50). From what i have read, you can smoke it, make tea, ingest or snort it. Anyway, a pinch between the fingers on either side and snort away, its not the most pleasnt thing on the nose. In fact I think I will look at other ways to intake this stuff from now on. It produced a mildy euphoric effect rather quickly actually,…

Hey, I have recently come into possession of a nice little acacia floribunda (Gossamer Wattle) bush, and I have a few questions. * Chemically speaking, What exactly does this plant contain? I've heard different things from different sources (all of which were pretty vague.) *In terms of alkaloid content, how much of x is prevalent in said plant (where "x" is the above point) *Has anyone grown this kind of acacia before? If so, any tips? Thanks

A nice grass that some Aussies will find as a good alternative to plants like Mimosa hostilis, as it is easy to find over here. May contain MMT, DMT, trace amounts of Bufotenine and 5-MeO-DMT. Chemical extraction is rather easy, but not even necessary as there are methods that reqiure a simple MAOI taken with prepared plant. There are several species, all containg different % of the above mentiond. Just do some research its all out there. A nice Phalaris aquatica strain is AQ1 or Australian. Do a little bit of research and i think a few people will be plesantly suprised. Enjoy.

I know this is a cannabis site, but i was just wondering if anyone on this site knew anything about the opium scene in australia. I'm just curious about it but can't seem to find any kind of information on opium without hearing more crap about heroin. I'm really just curious about pure opium itself as a smoked drug, just for the knowledge i do not intend to use it, and was wondering if anyone had any information. thanks

I'v just ordered some Phalaris Brachystachys seed from the states and was confused as to it's potentency. I read that it contains up to 3% DMT but with less of the other less desirable alkaloids and that these are contained in the "Aerial "parts of the plant. I feel that this way too good to be true, but thought that it would be worth investigation. now some questions what are the Aerial parts refered to? has anyone here grown this plant? and on the extraction process, is kerosene the same/in/or usable as naptha solvent (just confused on that seeing as i cant find info on its chemical structure) and is there an alternative for that solvent any help is appreciated
