Just wondering what you guys think this is my second run growing in coco, strain is jack herer, sprayed down my plants because of mite issues when pistles were first showing and have only just popped up again around week 5, dont want to spray again so I wanna know how long till I start flushing with the hope by the time I harvest I dont have an infestation. To my understanding some people like to start flush when pistles are half white half amber and others go by the trichomes whether they are clear, cloudy or starting to turn amber but not quite sure what to look for as a beginner, thanks guys an gals

Hey y'all :-) I got my 60x loupe and it delivers. I understand what to look for in relation to clear, milky and amber trichomes plus different percentages of each depending on your personal preference. But how do you really check them? Do you snip away at your buds (no thankyou)? Do you just check calyxes? Do you study your upper most buds and examine the outsides or do you pull the cola apart some and study the inner parts? I have a majority of milky trics on the outsides but clear on the inner parts of the buds. Or do you randomly check parts of the plant and see if most of the trics are how you like them? I can't really find an answer that covers this. I'm seeing the …

I'm heading into week 9 of flower with a Southern Star Seeds strain called Iron Duke. SSS reckon flower is about 10-11 weeks but when I look at the trichs most are cloudy, only a couple amber, and the leaf turn to yellow is pretty widespread now. But starting this week a few leaves have started showing marks that look like P deficiency. Could this be right this late into the grow? 4 plants are in 300mm pots, mix of 2 parts tomato potting mix and 1 part perlite, under a 250 HPS and 2x 300 LED. Alternating weeks with plain water, and purple powerfeed. Did a PK13-14 boost for a week 4 weeks ago, and then two feeds last week. Measured pH in the soil runoff after putting 1.5L…

interested in any idea as to what effect the light has to the thc after the day its cut down, does it degrade at a much slower pace in the first few days of harvest than after being cured, i would assume so depending on time of yr my dry space varies, there is some light coming through windows not direct sunlight, has anyone found a marked drop in quality from low light levels to full blackout, considering some options

Mine hurt me. I need to wear strategically placed bandaids. At least they’re filthy I guess. What do you use?

Hey guys first time grower I have a outdoor sativa(tangilope) growing just wondering if I should let it go more or start flushing. The trichomes are starting to turn milky but I feel it's still not ready yet. Just concerned about Melbourne's weather and don't know what do atm. Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hi all, I think I'm approaching my harvest time. I've got a 30x loupe but tbh it just isn't cutting it. I've ordered a 60x but it hasn't come yet and since it's a long weekend I won't be getting it til later next week. From what I can see it looks like it's pretty much all milky trichomes. Some trichomes are showing signs of ambering, maybe 5%. My strain is a higher CBD indica so it will naturally will be more of a body buzz but I'm wanting to harvest for the goal of 60% body buzz & 40% head high so I'm assuming I should be looking for 60% amber trichomes? Is there much of an issue with harvesting the ready ones and leaving the smaller ones to fatten up? Any ideas o…

Hey guys... My first grow from some seeds I was given. Turned out to be an indica, not sure what strain? Roughly about 6-7 weeks into flowering. Alot of the pistils have turned a chocolate brown/red color (around 60-70%). I dont have a loupe or anything to check the trichomes. Any thoughts on how long to leave this for a 50/50 head/body buzz.

Hi all, I'm approaching harvest time and I'm trying to get my process right for drying and curing. I know everyone may have different curing/drying methods but I just want to know that i'm not doing anything inherently wrong so I can go into this next stage with a bit more confidence. So far I plan to: 1. Trim my buds off straight away and trim the leaves off the buds from the start. I plan to keep a bit of extra stem in tact on the buds so I can do the stem snap test. 2. I'm going to store them via the shoe box drying method... Basically poke some holes in the shoe box, put some strings in the shoe box and my buds will be laying on the strings which are suspended …

Hi y'all. I think my weed got too dry....oh well, live n' learn. Next time I'll be more careful. My RH in the jars is steady at 57% but the product feels very dry. I put a Boost 62% pack into the mason jar but the humidity isn't rising. Do they take a while? I'm presuming that I'm expecting results far too quickly. Cheers and Peace!! :-)
