Hey this are some pictures from my first grow and harvest. just wondering what you guys think of my results. it's didn't get very large only about 30-40 cm tall from soil height and a bit wider then it was tall. Used backyard leafy compost and good all in one compost aswell. I used monsta bud throughout the flowering period and harvested when I though was optimal after extense research. I should of used a bigger pot or in the ground, but hey what difference is it going to make now. If you guys can give me some tips on growing a better plant next season that would be great

Anyone use one? Im trying to cover all my bases before starting and since I havent had the experience of growing and trying to control odours I have heard these are OK. Im going to get a CF but wonder about how I clear teh smell from when I open the tent and then close it again... there will be smell in the room that I want to get rid of I will be in an apartment so trying to be as safe as possible. Any thoughts im asking here as the internet seems to be 50% positive and 50% negative on both methods.

I had previously had tried to grow 2 "pot"plants, The first was an auto that grew humungous and never ever flowered and even with the advice of you guys, no matter what I did to it it just kept growing and after some 10 months or so it was turned into compost. The second was another auto but sent to a friends very early on due to renovations, it almost died at their place from a combination of PH lockout and over feeding but eventually flowered and they apparently made good use of it. Attempt number 3 has been a success, my little "Northern Dwarf" auto was a true survivor, she grew to 84cm (seed bank info 30-50cm), survived the heat wave and has produced reasonable well…

Hey guys , Just recently setup a recirculating dwc system ,losely following the guide found at cannaversity http://cannaversity.com/cannaversity/article.php?id=097 Now my issue is that the bukets won't feed back into the control bucket. So within minutes the 2 pots are over flowing and the control bucket is empty. Even with the pump off they don't level back out. My thought is the control bucket is outside the tent but the hoses have to go through a hole in the tent it's about knee height wich means the hoses aren't level with the holes on the buckets could this be issue ?

Well here we go again. I am more than likely in the wrong place with this question but oh well here we go again. I wont to know what people thoughts are on LED in general and in particular to the MARS II led grow light? I have found so much information on this light on other forums (#nofreeplugs) but am totally struggling to find any info on this forum. I like this forum due to it being for Aust. stoners & growers. And therefor look to my comrades for support and or information. I put in a couple of freebie "Thunder Bloody Mary" seeds, one of them is a headless mutant. Or perhaps the leaves have merged around/over the leader.. hence the strange little leaf poking out of the stem. I don't have the right camera gear for decent photos but the ones attached should give some idea. There appears to be a shoot forming at the first axil, and I am tempted to let it struggle on the see what happens. Has anyone had one of these mutants and tried to grow it on? If I was to let the shoot get bigger do you think that the plant will think the new shoot is/was the original leader and continue to grow ok? Thoughts or opinions welcome.

As my man mong stated maybe a case of fox tailing, 4 plants left (5 were maphs) grown in canna coco The canna range, half scroged under 600 hps, if u note the bud to the right, its fat thick an bout 45 cm long looks good heaps a white hairs still, but some still seem to be stretching, going to take the lights back to 11/13 Just looks strange, soz for the avrage pic.

Every time I fire up my grow light everything metallic in my room becomes live and gives me a heavy jolt which sucks a bit. I've tried unplugging the ballast and no electrocution, I've tried just running the timer and that's not it so it must be the frigging ballast (400/600 watt solistek dimmable) When I touch a metal object I get jolted every 30 seconds or so, It's not continuous so it seems like a capacitor charging and discharging which almost certainly means it's the ballast.(this only happens when the ballast and light are on). Has anyone here encountered this problem before and does anyone have any ideas on what it may be. I'm baffled and I don't have a multimeter …

G'day, First timer here. Don't have a magnifying glass and trying to determine when is best to harvest my girl. Whats the difference in layman's terms of harvesting early compared to late? Evening all, I was hoping for some insight and advice around the dreaded H (ermie) situation. Background Info- I have this plant (its a hermie that I have spent a fair bit of time removing the balls from) and as it is 1 of only 2 in this yrs crop. I really want to keep what little product I get from them, and managing 2 plants hasn't bee too tricky. G'Day Guys! Ive recently started my first grow... I started smoking as I suffer Crohnes and it has helped more then any prescribed pill ever has Figured its time I try my hand at saving some cash and growing my own.. I have done some reading in the past and tried in the past, but was called oversea's for work and left it with month old plants..
