Hi. I'm just after some info on plant identification, strain id, ect. I've got a container of seeds I've collected over the years. I've been growing for about a year, but I never know exactly what I'm growing. I'm just wondering if they are a certain strain of plant, does it need more or less nutrients, ph adjustment, ect. I'd like to look at the leaf and kinda know what I'm geting at the end. Thanks... Like your site....

I have been growing from clones with this 'Mum" keeper. I am finding I have seemed to let her get to thin around the waist. Now she is right up top and will be cloned from on Thursday. So, should she keep her place. I am keeping 2 strains atm. This Is both side by side This is a close up of the replacement It is so tempting to put this plant to flower tbh. I'm trying to plan ahead & never give up this particular strain. It's just too fast , sturdy, bulky, sokes up well to boot. I know mum's well recovered from my last round of cut taking, I do want to keep some new strains in 2006. I think I can …

I read that you can use carbonated water to add Co2 to your plants through foliar application of the carbonated water. Has anyone tried or is using this method of CO2 application? It sounds like a excellent way for us aussie growers as its a very cheap method without any added smells like the yeast/vinegar methods or increased heat through burning propane. And if anyone is using the yeast/vinegar methods out there, is the smell really that bad? Cheers :smoke

I live in the US so bare with me and my american ways of measurement. So far its been about 3 days and 2 of my 6 seedlings have broke open and showed that they are wanting to be planted. One of the 2 tips are about 1/2 inch long, can i put this one in a pot now? The other one is about 2mm and im thinking about leaving it where the other seeds are still germinating for another day or so. This is my first attempt at growing and beleive it or not my mom wants to help me with it :thumbsup . How big of a pot am i going to need? I have a nice Pot about 10 gallons big (im pretty sure that will do the trick). If anyone could point me towards some of the growing pro…

Hi Guys, I am growing one female plant (Ice 2000) and the buds are about 2 weeks into formation. There are however small green flowers developing from the seed pods and quite a lot of greenish powder too that falls from the seed pods onto the leaves. Is anyone familiar with this situation ? Budsville

About year ago I bought this foliar spray called Cycocell 77A. The dude told me to spray very lightly only once or twice as soon as you go to 12hrs. I have noticed that it stops vertical growth immediantly and the 'turning' rate for the plants to go from veg to flower are decreased-i.e it 'speeds' up the flowering process. I have done a crop without spraying this and noticed that the 'turning' period was much longer as the plants contintued to still veg much longer after 12hrs without the sprayand the yield was lower. I bought only about 100-200 ml which was put in a separate plastic bottle as the original container it came from was about 50 litre +. On the container it w…

hey, i'm pretty sure of the sex of these three plants, but just wanted some confirmation without showing anyone my grow (i'm sure you understand;)). I know the strain cant be determined just by looking, but any comments on whether they are sativa/indica/hybrid would be greatly appreciated!! this is my VERY first grow, so please go easy on me p.s. sorry if the pics aren't too great, its my first go at that too PLANT 1: (click for larger pictures) http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y236/nugget23/th_Picture010LargeMedium.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y236/nugget23/th_Picture009LargeMedium.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y236/nugget23/th_264ec47…

Ok i have about 8 plants im growing and i always have trouble getting seeds so i thought. When my plants start to flower and i take out the males could i keep one growing about 100m away then when its flowers start to have resin on them get a swab and then take it to the female plant and rub it on a few flowers? then kill the male plant. Would this just make the one or two buds seed or the whole plant and plants around it? even if it is one plant that seeds im not to worried just dont want al of them to seed. thank you

Any growers out there in Australia that use superthrive? I'm sure if you use this product then you probably have used it for years...? Just want to know if you do use superthrive what is your prefered method of distribution. Do you use it mainly as a foliar spray or do you add it to nutrient reservoir or both? And do you use it througout the whole life cycle of the plant or only when the plants are stressed or 'sickly' looking?

Hi all it seems something has possibly stunt the growth of a number of my plants. I started my plants from seeds 3 and a half weeks ago and now have 3 very good plants now which are going well and would be 15-20 odd centimetres tall but the rest which were planted at the same time are dismal to say the least. They are only about 5cm tall and have been that way for 2 weeks I'd say. I also have a couple more plants that were planted a week later and are also stuck at 5 cm. I'm growing outdoors in a greenhouse/hothouse (more information about my grow can be found through the link in my signature) When packing some of the pots with soil I packed some more compact than …
