Hi All, just wondering , how long would you expect a female seed to be good for ?? Ive had a fea put away, in the air tight vile , in a jar in the cupboard for 18 months, very dry & no sun , but they crack ok in a shot glass, then into a good quality seed raising mix, kept at a constant 25 C, but im only getting a 30% germ!!..........Ive even had 2 seeds from the same strain, & batch go in at the same time , up pops 1 in a few days the other no show When you dig em up you can see the tap root has started to grow then just stop, ive tried various strains with the same result It looks like the nights have got to cold & killed the seed, except there on a electri…

Been flooding myself with yankee how to grow videos and its beginning to feel like they have more nutrients then medium. Before I find myself surrounded by name brand Super dooper extra awesome do anything bottles and a empty wallet are there cheaper Bunnings only options? Had a look a few days ago and it all seams to be more nitrogen based with the P+K being in the lower end of the scale. What have you used that worked? Any suggestions would be great. Also would sticking a bit of dolomite lime in Coco work for Cal mag? The cheap Bunnings Coco bricks. Flushed beyond what would be considered sane. Thanks for reading

Hello everyone, just getting my first batch of seedlings going after a year's break and I have a question for the growers who use an 80W Philips CFL. My seedlings are between 1-3 days old and are now too numerous for my 24W CFL to light adequately. I have an 80W but don't know how far away from the seedlings to keep it. Obviously this is my question... how far away from the top of new seedlings should I hang the light? Thanks and best wishes for the new season. lou

I've already started my dwc bucket got seeds online and some bag seeds I don't care about any of that I've done this dance b4 just never hydro with maryjane (chillies b4) so my babies are about 3inchs and killing it every day but I only realised that I got classic and not Aqua. I thought Aqua was just fancier than classic. Fml... But yeah everything's good so far just looking for some tips if someone's made the same MISTAKE!!! Argggh. Just a few quick questions about flowering multiple plants in the same tent. Tent of which is 12/12 light cycle. Does it matter how many different strains? Do strains affect each other in way of strain effects? Do ages of flowering plant need to match up? IE can one plant be in it's last week of flowering before harvest and a fresh flowering lady can be introduced into the same tent? Are there any "Tips" for things that could also arise that aren't being expected? Cheers all

Well I've been using Growrite/Budrite for a long time now. I gave Professors a go for a while and then went back to Growrite/Budrite., but I would like to try another brand. Just to try something different. Coco DTW. I've been sussing out Canna Coco mutes. What do you guys suggest for a next try? Thanks fellow members.

I went and visited my mum last weekend and she said she bought me something. She went off and came back with a book called "marijuana horticulture the indoor/outdoor medical growers bible". It's the Jorge Cervantes book I've heard alot about but never actually seen. It's a pretty comprehensive book that covers nearly everything and it's convenient to have in one place and available offline. Thanks to this community I had seen it all before and wouldn't pay 30 bucks of my own moneys on it but I would recommend anyone interested to find a copy. Hi people, First post on here. Been a long long time since I last grew anything and it seems that the choices of strains available now are crazy compared to the old days. I have a veggie patch that I can get away with growing about 6 plants in but I want to keep them short, ideally 1m or less, certainly no 2 or 3m giants. I will be topping the plants to try and get as many buds as possible but haven't really got the room to train them out to keep a big plant low. Looking for feminized outdoor strains that stay small & will grow easily in the Vic climate, target yield is about 3 ounces per plant, obviously more is great but this is just for myself so dont need to be …

Simple quick question. What is better for daily feeding? Using a Watering Can or using a Weed Spray Bottle? There is no issue for needing to time save. I would have thought a spray bottle as it's very controlled however I'm being informed that a Watering Can could be more beneficial. Thanks in advance.

Gday guys, Big Bang 2 femenisedseeds This is my first grow which i ve been using just normal bulbs from out of my shed in a wardroble annd a desk lamp.I went into the experience with only enough knowledge to get it going. Im not sure exactly how old the plant is as I have not kept track of that. Im investing in a hps set up and moving it to a more roomy and stealth place before it starts to reek. I got a ph tester yesterday and it has been reading between 6.8-7.0. Im using cana coco 20 per cent pertlite and feeding it with dutchmaster gold range a and b with a gallon of purified water. Id just like to know where i am going wrong and what to improve on. Thank you.

Hi Guys, Im down in the southern part of the country where its gets bloody cold. I have a Poly tunnel and some Blueberry kush seeds and want to them to have the full grow cycle in pots in the poly tunnel. When is the best time to plant the seeds in a poly tunnel? Do I follow the same principles as tomatoes? Thanks for the help guys
