General Cultivation Q&A

my mother plants leaves are starting to wilt at the edges,also stating to get a brownish tinge on the leaves. She is under a 400 sontagro,2 fluros up the side. Took cutting from her 7 days ago and since then she has started to look like this.I have been tying her down to minimise height.She is Red hair skunk.Use fongrid 3 days ago in the water and spray her regular with silica plus.Any help appreciated.

browsing through a different Bunnings store today than the one I usually go to and noticed they had "Manutec" hydro nutes. They also had Manutec Bloom Booster, and while the packet didn't say it was for hydroponic use, it said it was water soluble. And then they had all sorts of other ferts that were water soluble. Am I correct in assuming that as long as ferts are water soluble they are OK to use in a hydroponic system?

I'm wondering the best way to cure...I've been told hang the entire plant upside down and let dry (the longest way) to manicuring the buds and putting them in a cardboard box or paper bag to using a food dehydrator. Which way do YOU use? -fishee

Hey i was just wondering, when can i smoke the plant, can i constantly go up to it and pluck some leaves and smoke 'em, or do i have to wait until flowering or something? thanks crazychicken p.s. Is there any work involved in flowering or is it just the stage when flowers appear? I want to know as much info as possible, so sorry for askin so much... crzc

Hey, before i waste money on anything else i wanted to test my grow box just so i know what could go wrong with the weed when i try to grow it. So i was wondering, is there any other plant or weed aside MJ that has the same charactheristics sos i can test out my grow box? thanks a bunch

I have a little cuboard in my computer desk which just may b suitable for one plant to grow under fluro's... Below is the specs of the desk... What would you guys recommend to put in there, I know you can train plants to grow shorter.. But i think i would just force flowering earlier or move it else where for flowering... Tips Please

is it correct that U only water the plants during the day? u turn the water off at night? Just wondering if anyone has had experience with these or any other NFT systems? I conducted a search here, but could find nothing about Turbotanks. The NFT 424 etc, are basically the same thing and have received great reviews on www.overgrow and similar boards. The home is www.turbotank.com.au/intro.htm I think I'll grab four 1.1m tanks with a 600w over each. (As you can see, I'm still deciding which system to use )

i was chating to my dealer who swears that the commercial growers spray diet coke on the bud to make it weigh more.???? This makes me wonder if this is true what other shifty shit commercial growers get up to have u heard of this .
