I have a little cuboard in my computer desk which just may b suitable for one plant to grow under fluro's... Below is the specs of the desk... What would you guys recommend to put in there, I know you can train plants to grow shorter.. But i think i would just force flowering earlier or move it else where for flowering... Tips Please

is it correct that U only water the plants during the day? u turn the water off at night? (in a dwc setup) what about air? common sence tells me that the air pumps have to be on 24/7 and and and...one more. in my dwc setup, the water is flowing all the time. is this enough water or do i have to put drippers on the tops of the pots too? if ya reckon it's easier to icq me or msn me back, plz do so. msn instincta@hotmail.com ICQ 27474459 THX

Welcome all, Well yes i am planning my first indoor grow.. !!! So would like ur ideas on my plan, i plan to build my box this weekend... I only wanna grow at the most 2 plants in it.. So it doesnt need to be big and i dont have the best budget So what size do u guys recommend.. What lights do u recommend and what strain do u recommend... I will order from SPC for sure !!! Just wondering if anyone has had experience with these or any other NFT systems? I conducted a search here, but could find nothing about Turbotanks. The NFT 424 etc, are basically the same thing and have received great reviews on www.overgrow and similar boards. i was chating to my dealer who swears that the commercial growers spray diet coke on the bud to make it weigh more.???? This makes me wonder if this is true what other shifty shit commercial growers get up to have u heard of this .

I've was checking out my mates's recirculating system, which uses clyballs in orchid/net pots sitting in tubs, which in turn drain back to his tank. He was talking about the airstones he's put in these tubs and how they're supposed to help more oxygen get to the roots, when it struck me : why not pump oxygen directly into the tubs? Oxygen is heavier than air (specific gravity of 1.15 or thereabouts IIRC), which means the you could work out the volume of the tubs and inject a measured dose of pure oxygen into them at fixed intervals, which would displace the air iand increase the oxygen available to the roots by a factor of 4 or so. hey, A fair few people have been asking for this thread so here goes. Ill try to get some pics when possible as usual . If anyone has anything to add feel free.... Canna/dutch master/natures own- 250gram compressed block (expands to 2 kg aprox) 5kg compressed block (expands to 40 kg aprox) 20 kg granulated bag 50 kg granulated bag With the compressed blocks you need to expand them into a large rubbermaid style container(50-70ltr). It takes about 30 mins and expands about 8 times. The substrate is too hot to handle during this stage but after a hour or so is bearable with gloves. The coco still needs to be cleaned throughly. Hi guys A thort just occured to me. What do the police do with the hydro gear they confiscate when they bust a commerical set up??? It seriously wouldnt suprise me if they re sold it....... If so does any one know were they sell it at and when?? I live in vic just so u know....i am not dumb enoth to buy it my self...... a close freind who doesnt grow can for me............... My set up is very simple, I know nothing about what I'm doing so i'm just guessing as a i go. Set up consists of, 4 letre bucket (res) i have the water pump in the bucket pushing water out the hose. then water pipe then goes into a 8" piece of PVC about 1 metre long. ( i think this is a DWC setup?) then i've put cuts in the pipe where my pots are. the problem is that there no water pumping out the output pipe back to the bucket.... Do i need another pump on the output end? Or is the pump just not powerfull enough? thanks
