A thort just occured to me.

 

What do the police do with the hydro gear they confiscate when they bust a commerical set up???

 

It seriously wouldnt suprise me if they re sold it....... If so does any one know were they sell it at and when?? I live in vic just so u know....i am not dumb enoth to buy it my self...... a close freind who doesnt grow can for me...............

 

Also apart from the tradeing post are there any hydro shops/ stores that deal in second hand gear??? Just that its so much cheaper..

not too sure, but i've seen a lot of the seized stuff for auction on ebay or sold.com.au i'll have to find the exact url for u but in a bit of a rush right now....

 

they had a couple of nice sets of tanita scales on there, but i didn't notice any growing gear at the time....

but i wouldnt be buying stuff from there.

go to cash converters, ive picked up a few bargins there over the years.

Hey hey,

there's a group of hydro stores in Melb called 'Greenlite' - look em up in your yellow pages, they're in windsor, collingwood, somewhere else....

They often have second hand ballasts and light kits etc.

New stuff is so cheap, you might want to think about the fact that you'll save a few dollars but it's all been used and will wear out a lot sooner. Check it out anyway. At least if it blows up you can go back to them, unlike an auction.
