Heya all Just wondering if it's a viable idea to reuse your dirt after a grow. Im using canna terra pro, and i've just gotten rid of the stumps of the plant but have two 10l buckets of left over soil. Are there any pro's / cons? Like would the soil still have left over trace nutrients? also full of left over roots as well. or should I just spread it out over my other non-canna plants in the garden?

Hi everyone, I recently was given 20litres of add bud flower enhancer. https://www.hydroworld.com.au/additives/fastway-hydroponics/add-bud-20l/ I would like to give it a go but thought I would ask peoples opinions as I don't know anyone who has used it. I'm currently using a drain to waste with 70/30 coco/perlite with Canna coco, I have just flipped to flower and intend on using a pk13/14 as I normally would. I normally use a recirculating system with canna classic A & B, plus pk13/14 when needed and get good results. Have you used Add Bud and what did you think? cheers

Hey all , can someone please tell me of a nute line were you can follow recommended , mixing rates ?? As most weve tried various brands , but with my experience & the use of EC or PPM meters , they are all way out of wack, causing many probs surely there is a nute line that concerntrates on grower & plant well being rather than to sell another bottle of nute im currently using 1/2 to a 1/3 strength of reco mixing rates …….. im not asking what nutes are best you may say if that's the case , just keep doing what your doing , but , there is times were that isn't b…

Just thought I'd share, Have had a 3 leafer before but this is new to me. Codyledon leaves came out on same side, parallel, not opposed. Looks like 2 plants, one a 3 leafer (whorled Palladia or whatever) and the other a traditional.

Hey, My grow is set to finish up around the time I have to go away for 10 days. I have 3 or 4 possible scenarios. Pull early (possoble week or 2) and start the dry whilst gone. It may finish in time. Pull and dry whilst gone. (likely) use the time away as a flush with a diy drip feeder. Or if i let it go, and they starve of water- what are the issues i face. Anyone any advice? I know its a bit of an unknown until i get closer. Depending on the outcome i may need to know, how to dry slowly in qld so as not too dry after 10days when i return. New grower here guys. Seriously annoyed at this unplan ned trip at the worst of times. I dont have the option…

I've got 3 NL and switched to 12/12 78 days ago. That's 11 weeks. Giving 2 weeks or so to show preflowers I should be seeing the end of this grow soon. But this time I've noticed the buds have not fattened up like previous grows. I've always had the light too close and been too heavy on the nutes but this time I've played it safe and backed off both a little. My current ppm going in and out is 700 and my lights seem to be ok, no light burn. If I look at the buds themselves I can see they are not ready (trics all clear). The plants seem very leafy moreso than buds fattening up. I'm using H&G in all coco. Any suggestions as to what more I could be doing in the final cou…

I've just sprouted my first seed ever, yee haw! Going in a small DWC tent and I'll journal it soon. I think I might have left her in the dark too long. She looks awful tall under the first leaves. Should I bury her a little deeper, to avoid a tall spindly plant? Height is limiting factor for me and I'll be topping with LST.

Hi, as I received quite a few freebies from seedsman this year, I am just wondering if you can plant your cuttings straight outdoors and get them going, I was thinking maybe a seed raising or potting mix and maybe shadecloth over the top till the get up a bit? Don't have anything indoors and don't plan on it. Any thoughts or experience would be appreciated, thanks.

Considering 4 hempy Buckets under a 400w for my next grow. Not a fan of autos anymore but I have beans which seem a shame to waste. Growing 2 of each strain (bubblegum and WW max), one is advertised as a 65 till harvest and the other 80 till harvest. Add 2 weeks I guess to those figures. I've seen some 12 L square Buckets in bummings. I've normally heard 1 gal for each month of grow so they should be ok. I'm asking because I've always used fabric pots in the past so never had to worry about getting root bound so much. Is a 12L hempy bucket setup OK for 3 months of grow? Won't get root bound? hi all. just found an interesting article on Oxine to treat your nute solution in hydroponic reservoir. very very interesting. Oxine Oxine is a multipurpose liquid disinfectant which is many times more powerful in eliminating micro organisms than common chlorine based materials or hydrogen peroxide. The beauty of this product is that it is a very powerful oxidiser yet it leaves no harmful by-products behind. When Oxine (a patented stabilised Sodium Chlorite solution) is activated with citric acid it forms a stock solution liquid which emits Chlorine Dioxide gas (ClO2) – a very powerful Oxidising agent. (Chlorine Dioxide (ClO2) derived from Oxine is not to be co…

Title may seem a little odd, but my seedlings have nutrient burn which I'm sure is due to feeding it too much aloe vera. The fan leaves on the third node and below are dried up and the other fan leaves attatched to the 3 above are doing fine (6 total). I'm wondering If I could top the third node without any problems? hi all. 2nd indoor grow and first time hydro doing an r-dwc bucket scrog. been looking to upgrade my chiller as the one i've been using over the cooler months isn't cutting the mustard with the warmer weather coming on... summer comes fast but even faster it seems when your growing hydroponically! research so far tells me that the Teco chillers although dear as phuk are the crack for both performance, reliability and power usage. I'm running about 50lts atm in an uninsulated res and can't keep the temps under 21 deg cel the last week or so and the leaves on the colas have been cupping and edges of leaves seem to be a little brittle. not sure what is causing …
