Who uses what training method & why?

Recommended Posts

I've just started my first grow and I'm very interested in hardcore training as I'm growing in a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2 metre tent and I want to maximise my yields.

I did originally have 4 plants, and I was going to ScrOG them, but one of my seedlings died and I'm down to three plants, so I'm ditching the ScrOG for my first run.

Now I've done research on training, and I'm pretty sure at the moment I might just top my plants and do some LST, but I'm interested in what other people do, how they do it, and why they do it. Give me some ideas and knowledge me up so I can maximise my yields!

Thanks in advance [emoji4]

Fim and bend. Supercrop if need be. They'll love it.

Even more reason to scrog coz your plant numbers are down .. allows you to veg longer and minimise height issues there for maximise light penitration and airflow in turn maximise yield , also easier to inspect plant and spot any issues that might arise as far as Iam concerned it’s the only way to go .. unless you have a system that’s running 10,000 wats to get the light flood you need

Any training methods work assuming you know how to naturally feed the wound you create before you heal it up. It'll blow your ever loving mind. Research some organic amendments that you can apply to your plants at a foliar level. In short? Make your own "perfect" rain.

Try stuff. Have fun, research. Its about fun. Not the same thing works for everyone. Plants can bounce back from pretty much anything. Organic is open to so many things, same with LST. Check out some grow diaries. LST definitely helps. It can open a plant up and keep the height down. Just remember growing is for relaxation...

Good point... I guess I was just thinking that because I couldn't fill all 4 corners of a ScrOG, that it was pointless... Now I realise how stupid that sounds [emoji23]
