Thanks to all those who chimed in, I appreciate it. I'll probably just go down the 450w or 600w viparspectra rd in a 0.8 x 0.8 x 1.6 tent with a semi decent fan. This seems like the best option for price and simplicity and it seems people to OK with this type of set up.

hope it doesn't start a fire when it does. they are not designed for continuous 24/7 running.

For the price of a cheap purpose built to run constanly fan why would u not just buy one.

Righto, after reading through Aqua's post I think I better set this thing up half decent. So, on the back of some of your recommendations how about this for a beginner.

 

 

Tent: Grocell (0.8 x 0.8 x 1.6) will be to much fucking around to fit the 1.2 x 1.2 x 2 in.

Then I just need someone to tell me what HPS and HM bulbs to get for the Nanolux ballast and I'll grab some ducting. I'll see if I can get away with no carbon filter.

Can you get more than 1.6 height? Will limit you a bit mate. My first tent was 80 80 160 and it was way too short
