General Cultivation Q&A

Hey all im getting starting on building my bubbler.I went to the shop and bought a air pump that does 9500c.c/min it has 2 outlets. Im going to be using 10litre bucks with a pump this size how many bucks will it safely do?? Im hoping it does 4 but from what i have read about bubblers its better to have to many bubbles then not enough. Any help would be great thanks stonerz.

There's a dump out here, near me.. they have a kinda "shop" affair. They sell stuff that people might be able to use. I sometimes go there to get pots for the garden, but gee I've seen some amazing stuff, and is a good source for making a system. Lengths of PVC pipe, timber, tubs. They even have like 10 or so 150watt HPS lights there in a box for ten dollars a pop! ballasts and light holder, bulb..all there. I once got two seperate NFT systems there. One just a meter long, 3 pipes wide. The other one was a fair bit larger. I used both almost exactly as i found them and bought them for pittance. They seem to "price" things as they go along. I'm sure this isn't normal. 3 of 6 of my White Russians don't have any bud development at the 8th week of flower. The first 3 pics are the back row and the last pic is the general condition of the front plants - which could be a lot better too IMHO. Why is this? I think I'll be lucky to pull 1-2oz from 6 plants... Jimbo

Hey guys, thanks for your tips re: stretchy little sucker. I tipped that one pretty hard and in the mean time the runt of the litter has taken off, and is very thick and bushy - possibly too much . Being a complete novice at this, should i thin her out a bit? They're about 4 weeks old now, but had an interupted youth with a shitty outdoor light and poor ventiliation, so i guess i should look at upping the nutrients a bit and heading towards a 12/12 cycle. By the way, they're in coco, hand watered water/nutes every other day, under 400wHPS, and now WITH good ventilation. Currently on 18/6. Sexing will be an issue soon too I guess. Hey guys, Although its early I'm thinking about where I'm gunna grow. I have found some places in some bush but Im not sure if they will get enough sun. The area of bush is sort of a rainforest cos its near a creek so there are ferns growing etc. I've read that mj should get atleast 5 hrs of direct sunlight a day and they wouldn't get that now in winter because of a lower sun and I'm not sure about summer. A few pics would probably help which ill get in a while. Would I probably just get a lackluster lanky plant and should I find somewhere new or not worry too much n put some beans in the dirt when the times right.

hey there guys and girls just been to see my hydro dude and he showed me a product he keeps under the counter its called budmeister and i have never seen it befor or heard of it it supposedly works in the same way that Rock Juice and Super Bud work but dont cut down on the trich production now its got me wondering about it and i cant seem to find any info what so ever so if anyone knows about it can they tell me more or give me the company name so i can look further btw it has a 2 headed troll on the bottle if that helps cheerz :Dj:

Hi guys this is my 1st grow and have a few questions.my plants are about 10 days old ,bought some botanicare pureblend pro grow.can i start using this now?if yes how often?am i better off using 24hr or 18/6?on the lights?thanks guys

Gday everyone I've got a flood & drain system going lately there is green stuff like some kind of algae My grow is on a 18/6 cycle 60lt tubs giving them a drink every 2hrs at 15mins The EC level is at 1.8 and PH level at 5.8 My rooms 2m high 1.5m wide & 1.6m long i've got 2 exhaust fans one sucking air in & the other sucking it out with a pedastel fan facing the tubs & light So can anyone tell me why this green looking stuff is appearing Roy

Hey, Just moved a plant from a pot with soil to a pot with rocks with a water bubler setup. lWas real carful. Did it couple days ago and the roots are already commingout of pot.
