Old waterbed put to use

I've had a brainstorm .

We've got an old waterbed here, so I'm thinking of taking the frame and set it up, place the liner inside it, and start tossing bags of coco cor into it. Use it as a typical veggie garen kinda idea, but with all the advantages of hydroponics!.

 

Prob wont be able to do this right now, but I reckon I'll give it a go but.

Hey Rob if the frame of the bed is made of that partical board stuff it wont last very long as that stuff sucks up moisture and will swell and fall apart in no time, and that stuff is bad for mold as well...

yeah if you gonna put it out in the elements or even set it up as a grow ya gonna need to piss off any chipboard crap

 

it wont last long at all unfortunatly

 

but good idea with the base and bladder just knock yaself something to hold it and bobs ya uncle
