I think to many people out there are are being unknowingly poisoned with pgrs,so heres a couple of things to look out for so you can avoid it. I am not an expert but i can tell what i have figured out. 1/Generally speaking in my area pgr bud is rounded and rock hard. Most of the time its a shade of light brown but can be any normal colour. 2/when broken or ''mulled up''emits little smell. 3/Lack of visable tricomes.''as pgrs inhibit resin production'' 4/Taste can be variable from crap to putrid 5/Look out for headaches and chest problems. 6/imho it has no medical value and no recreational either as its just poison. 7/People poisoning people? Any thought…

G'day again everyone... Co2 pump... Looking making my own... Researched a couple of techniques. 1 being the water sugar and yeast method in a bucket with air stone, this apparently will have life span of 2-3 weeks. And the other being coffee grounds with mycelium... Mushroom growing stuff. I'm led to believe that this has a a life span of up to 3 months which would for all intensive porpoises be great. However I'm trying to find mycelium to do the job and if I'm going the right direction for it. Anyone doing same thing or similar at all?

I have a shed which I am thinking of putting a grow tent in. Only downside is...no electricity in the shed. Is there a solar grow light? I can put a small panel on the shed roof. This is all small scale. Just need to grow a few plants for personal use

Besides adding ph down and using nutes (AN ph perfect etc) how do you go about reducing the pH of your mix when tap water comes out somewhere about pH 8? I'm finding the first 2 days it creeps up slowly until it settles. I have a pump mixing 24x7 giving a type of waterfall effect which I've heard helps. Any other methods to help stabilise ph a bit quicker? Cheers, MLG Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Got a Barneys farm fem lemon haze seed. Germinated perfect it's currently in paper towel for one more day..then what should I transfer it to...a Link to a step by step would be good or personal. Heard premium soul in a big pit and go from there and mix in 30 percent perlite to 70 soil? What soil is best from bunnings. And yeah from germinating what should I do. Hi crew I’m looking at using GT oxy plus next grow in my res as a mate swears by and thought I’d try it - question is I was also looking at trialling Sensi Pro Bio Diesel as I’ve also heard great things from people and this site alike , but would the OxyPlus kill the bio diesel ? I’m waiting on a reply from the Sensi website but thought some of the more technical or advanced horticulture experts on here might know!!? Thanks Jimboss Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

i have used clay balls in alot of grows with current setup.I have large dark brown clay balls(bag is not named.I hav bags of other clay balls that are smaller and hold more moisture.Still i see benifits in using both.Though to small seems to fall apart easier.About to buy more and might use a little of both but if i could find a name for larger dark brown ones i would be happy. The smaller ones are definitely the more common.Anyone out there been here and able to give me advice.I think larger ones may get to 20 or 22mm and weigh a fraction when dry or wet.

Just trying to be organic with homemade compost mixed with few egg shells and some coffee grinds, have been only giving bit of water everyday using a spray bottle (using rainwater, is about 6.5 pH) they have been getting a solid 14 hours light and 4 ish hours of direct sunlight. Any advice on this? Should I consider using something like bio-diesel. Not after too much yield but just want to have that satisfaction of smoking my own organic weed Also should I be transplanting into a bigger pot soon? Seedlings are approx 4 weeks old.

Has anyone tried running the hoses through some like this to keep dwc temps down? I have one of these at work and it will freeze stuff. Has a thermostat to control temps. I was thinking if I removed the door on the top and coiled both the return line and feed line inside the fridgeit should be enough to keep temps down as long as you constantly recirculate. https://www.bcf.com.au/p/engel-14lt-12v-fridge-freezer/295994.html Can get these cheaper if you look around, or get a different brand. This is just an example

So today after browsing the internet I found med tek, and found out it's done by g.lowe author of integral hydroponics and the manicbotanicx site which has been completely overhauled since I last visited with even more information. https://manicbotanix.com/author/manixglow/ it is where I was able to read so much information and learn so much about coco, as well as common PGR's used the good and the bad and a whole lot more. Anyway anyone tried his nutes out since they have been released in AUS? At the moment I will probably be supporting him simply because of the information he supplied prior to selling these nutes, and the information he gives about the products, spec…

Hey fellow growers, I have not been around for a while, and also have not been growing for a few years. Able to get back into the swing of things, and am Just wondering if I have missed out on any new super technologies that have been released. Have LED's become the go to lighting yet? When I stopped I remember CFH was starting to look very good how's all that going? Any new fantastical additives released by nutrient companies?

Got a question for you guys that have been doin it a while. According to the place I get a lot of my nutes from, they say to use stop grow in approx 2 weeks in to bloom period. The idea is that it is sposed to push all the "energy" into the flowering. Does anyone have any ideas on this at all? Your input is greatly appreciated..
