100% perlite fabric pot. Anyone?

Since I've got my recirc setup I've been wondering the best way to do things. My feeding are only limited to the max number of program sets of my timer.

Has anyone tried a fabric pot (was thinking 3 or 5 gal) with all perlite? Would think it would dry up super quick. The feeding frequency would need to be a few times a day but that's OK, the timer would look after that and I'm not wasting any nutes as they go back into the tote ready for the next feed.

Any pros or downsides I'm missing?

I plan to give it a shot.
