Hi guys... I would like to just to confirm something... If I start some plants indoor under my "250W CFL" and then transplant them outdoor during summer will they continue to veg or will they go into flower? I've had many mixed answers on this subject... Does anyone do this method aswell? This will allow me grow year round without the need of a big HPS system, as my power, and space allow... And for records sake if anyone knows how much good vegging will I see from a single 250W cfl with a shade? At least 6 nodes? Ive got some autoflowers that I would like to raise indoor for a bit until they are bit more hardier for the outdoor.. as my current outdoor autoflowers I sta…

Hi I am a total newb to trying to grow the plant and had a nice (named variety) indoor pot-plant growing quite some time ago but due to house reno's sent it on holiday to a friends place (who is a total newb as well) where it lives outdoors. Due to distance Ive only seen it once or twice since then. A while back it was very healthy and starting to Flower but slight signs of going dry around the edges of the leaves which I thought was due to the recent strong winds, later the drying was much worse so I gave them some potash after trying to diagnose the problem via cannaversity. Its very worse for wear looking now but neither of us know when its ready to harvest to at l…

Ok so i have 6 sativas growing outdoors. They are starting to show sex. 4 are female, 1 is male and one not sure yet. Any way i want to pollinate a branch of my healthiest female for seeds for next year.. but all my plants are in the same area. and dont want to pollinate them all. How would i go about doing this?? Take cuttings of the male (then get rid of it) to make clones and keep them somewhere where they cant get the females till i get pollen from them? OR can i wait for the balls to become more mature then cut the top off the plant and leave the stem in water? (i read that somewhere) Any advice would be helpful Thanks

Hi all, I have been reading a lot about Co2 enrichment and the benefits it can bring. There are a lot of so called "cheaper" versions to make Co2 like brewing beer, Dry Ice ect. However due to the fact you cant really deliver the Co2 to where you want it. They are cheaper but some what useless. So the only other way is Co2 tanks, which the set cost is a bit expensive however more reliable. The drama I am finding is locating a Co2 retailer that has easy fill or swap and go system for food grade Co2. I want food grade and some of the other Co2 like refrigeration and beer grade Co2 contain Nitrogen. Most food grade suppliers I have found, have a yearly rental of the …

Hey guys, my outdoor sativas are in there first month of summer and have began to show their sex. I have six in total. Two i haven't checked as they are not at the same location as my other 4. But 3 are defiantly female with the classic white hairs coming out in a V shape. BUT my healthiest plant of all, the tallest, the one i have taken the best care of im not too sure about... I have supplied pics, and after much searching i found some hairs but they are brown/orange!! And i accidentally broke off a little piece of plant near it. SO it female?? im really hopping... and if it is are the brown hairs a major problem?? Thanks guys.

Guys.. This year round im having terrible trouble raising my outdoor seedlings... 4 autos I have which are "super autos" that actually do very well been raised outdoors are pretty much stunted. Due to sydneys hot weather I'm not sure and a dodgy ph pen Im waiting for replacement from ebay. I also found a mazar seedling (non autoflower) that I had in a pot. and forgot about with a 70%coco and 30% worm mix.. Its been raining after our storms and its the third week now and it still looks like its JUST risen about the soil with its first tiny set of staggered leaves.. pathetic !!! Ive swapped houses and use to have a fluro tube setup. I had no problem raising seedlings to t…

so the very bottom leaves on a few of my 8 week old plants are turning yellow, but the rest of the plant looks relatively healthy. plants have been outdoors their entire life, watered every second day (when necessary), get a weak solution of soluble all purpose plant food once a week and are still in their original pots which contain seed raising mix (about to move them into the ground though) have tried searching this on the forum but there's topics on everything from potassium deficiency to heat stress. Any thoughts experienced members?

Have been growing my own for around the last 10 years and I am thinking about getting hold of some seeds and find that there are some types that are "autoflowering". What does this mean and what are the characteristics of plant ?

Guys I have this problem everyyear of when to judge to water my seedlings in coco. because I didnt start these in a seed raising mix im fine until the third set of leaves no problem. I have some autoflowers and all time is CRITICAL for them as they are a 12 week pheno. They have there first set of staggered leaves now. The original set they sprout (non staggered) are not dead yet ethier. When is okay to give them a light pussy strength feed of nutrient a+b, I also have some cannazym aswell? All of my years of in coco I have NEVER checked EC. I find the stuff I feed them from my local hydro store is called CROWN A + B. Its similar to canna and In my view works just as w…

Hi everyone, I need help with sexing some plants - they have outgrown their 1L airpots and I only want to transplant keepers [female]. They are all the same strain [Mandala 8 Miles High]. There are 2 plants showing what appear to be calyxes but no pistils [1st and last pics] - can these still be male? or am I safe to assume they're female. And 2 that look to have male pre-flowers [2nd and 3rd pics]. I'd really appreciate if someone, with more experience than I, can confirm these for me.

Hi everyone, So I was reading the pub ammo in ZOO magazine today and it say's "plants are able to recognise their close relatives and grow less aggressively when surrounded by "family members"" not sure how true this is though. Thought I'd just put it out there. Btw anyone here ever tried to make a solar led grow setup? Thanks
