Hi everyone, just thought I'd point out a link I found by listening to the radio... there is a use for that amazingly old fashioned technology... Check out www.grc.com and click on Sheilds Up. You can have your computer thoroughly checked for any vulnerability, and then enhance your own protection from both spyware and other nasties through this method. There is no protection aside from your own really, so it pays to see how good your firewalls and other security methods are working. Hope this helps, and if anyone knows any other similar links then feel free to post em here as well..

1 of my dealers has stopped selling to any1 under the age of 18 due to her seeing on the news that if a dealer is caught selling to someone under the age of 18 they will get 9 years prison instantly sounds a bit bullshit to me but if its true i do kinda agree with it but i also disagree....like its good and all that it will be harder for school kids to obtain BUT if u cant have something doesnt that tend to make u want it more? im no genius by any means but i sure as hell could come up with better techniques to get the youth of australia off smokin pot and although the task is impossible to complete, i dont think 9 years in gaol is acceptable for dealing to some1 w…

Medicinal cannabis use gets support 12:05 AEST Thu Jul 1 2004 Legislation introduced into the ACT parliament by the Greens allowing the medicinal use of cannabis has received in-principle support by the two major parties. If the Bill, introduced in the ACT Legislative Assembly is passed, the territory would become the first jurisdiction in Australia to allow such a move, The Canberra Times reported. Under the legislation, those ill would have to ask for permission to use cannabis for medical reasons. They would need the backing of at least one doctor. Hey people, I thought it might be interesting to see what wacky conspiracy theories people have heard. A friend (and chronic smoker) is always reading those "nexus"? magazines, anyway I was around at his place havin a sesh, when the news came on about Bin Laden's new tape, Nath started blowin his top saying that Bin Laden is just a puppet, and sept 11 was setup to provide a "platform" for "global control". It might have just been the c99 but I gotta tell ya what he was saying started to make a lot of sense. :yingyang

Police say they have broken the back of an alleged major national cannabis syndicate operating in Canberra for the past two years. Police involved in Operation Stolid have raided 34 rental homes used for cultivating hydroponic cannabis and seized around $2 million worth of drugs and have arrested 20 people. Detective Superintendent Leanne Close says the crackdown began almost two years ago after a tip-off from South Australian police that members of the syndicate were targeting Canberra. "The operation focussed on an organised criminal syndicate here in the ACT who were primarily using private rental premises to undertake their activities," she said. "They would s…

Geocities: The Digital Genesis
In the bustling digital streets of the late '90s, Yahoo Geocities stood out as a haven for burgeoning online communities. It was here, amidst this digital renaissance, that OZ Stoners planted its foundational roots. This marked the dawn of a space that would go on to become synonymous with Australian cannabis culture.

On its journey, OZ Stoners faced formidable challenges. Between Yahoo's unpredictability and the unexpected anti-cannabis stance of titans like Meta, steering the ship required a blend of adaptability, tenacity, and foresight.
A Hiatus and the Phoenix's Ascent
Come 2022, OZ Stoners entered a period of unplanned dormancy, lasting a challenging 12 months. But, reminiscent of the legendary phoenix, this hiatus was transformed into an opportunity for rebirth. The platform underwent comprehensive upgrades, server enhancements, and a revitalising overhaul. As it emerged, it did so with a phoenix-like rise, soaring higher and brighter, dedicated to serving the community with even more zeal and purpose.
Ode to the Trailblazers
The tapestry of OZ Stoners is woven with the dedication and vision of its founding members. Their relentless drive and contributions have been the bedrock of its success. While many of these pioneers continue to shape its direction, we pause to honor those trailblazers we've lost over time. Their indomitable spirit continues to inspire and resonate within the cannabis community. - Memorial Hall
