Regular cannabis use can have "real and significant" mental health effects but is unlikely to cause schizophrenia, according to a report from Government drugs advisers published yesterday. The drug can impair psychological and psychomotor performance, cause acute intoxication reactions and lead to relapses of individuals with mental illnesses. The council, which was asked to reconsider the Government's decision to …

Hey guys, Im just messing around with my PC trying to kill some time and noticed that my HDD's (I have 2 of them, one 120GB and one 60GB) are set as 'secondary master' and 'secondary slave'. My DVD and CD burner (two separate drives) are set as 'primary master' and 'primary slave. My question was, Should the HDD's be set to 'primary master + slave' and my disc drives set to 'secondary master + slave'? If I were to swap them around (I have no probs doing this) would my PC benefit from it in any ways? Or should I just leave it be? Cheers :thumbsup nugget23

http://www.theage.com.au/news/national/cal...37864866613.htm AUSTRALIA'S drug regulator should decide whether medical use of cannabis is permitted, according to the head of the committee developing the first national cannabis strategy. In a move likely to increase pressure on federal and state governments to allow medicinal use of the drug, Richard Mattick, chairman of the national cannabis strategy, said the Therapeutic Goods Administration determined the effectiveness and safety of medication, and cannabis should be treated the same way. The TGA's role was to approve new therapeutics in Australia and it was up to it to determine whether medication was safe and eff…

Police are continuing their crackdown on the city's drug trade with an appeal to the public to "Dob in a Dealer" during a program launched today. The Dubbo-based initiative will run for the next four weeks, with members of the public urged to come forward with any information they may have regarding suspected drug activity. Orana crime prevention officer Senior Constable Anthony Chapman said the localised program as an initiative of local police and would concentrate on Dubbo. "We know that the public shares our desire to get these drug dealers off the streets. "We don't want them in our community, and we need the community's help to make arrests. "We have had great succe…

Source : Sky News Active on Austar Digital. I just found it hilarious that not are they only 2 years behind in mentioning one of these systems, they mentioned it by name so commercial growers can get more for their money but after considering that for a few seconds, they might have mentioned the name of the product so commercial growers will buy the systems so the police can track the growers down via their order

Marijuana growers have gathered in Europe's pot-smoking capital for a trade show that is taking on the trappings of a major industry fair, complete with scantily clad models, glossy brochures and, of course, samples. But instead of posing next to muscle cars, the models explained the intricacies of hydroponics culture such as the "iGrow-box Intensive Irrigation System" and exhibitors showed off their bongs, grinders, rolling paper, reflective film, hemp-fabric apparel and how-to marijuana growing videos. "This gives you an uplifting high, up in the mind, not in your body," marijuana cultivator Arjan Roskam said of his latest Cannabis Cup-winning strain, Arjan's Haze #…

CHRISANTHI GIOTIS Tuesday, 17 January 2006 While drugs may have played a role in many of Andy Warhol's 1960s artworks, it's not often art galleries hold an exhibition dealing with the subject of drugs. That's why the Dubbo Regional Gallery (DRG) is pretty excited about the exhibition that opened last weekend and will continue until March 12. Drugs: A Social History was first organised for the Justice and Police Museum, Sydney by the Historic Houses Trust and is now on at the DRG exhibition space at the Dubbo Branch Macquarie Regional Library. The exhibition brings fascinating facts to light - like past medical practices that included prescribing heroin for relief …
