Drug taskforce detectives found more than five million pharmaceutical-grade tablets in a raid at 2.30am (AEDT) on a family home at Epping in Melbourne's northern suburbs. http://www.mdcoastdispatch.com/article.php...=30&id=2236 Cash, Charge or Pot? A Bel Air man found out in May cash, not marijuana, is the currency of choice in Ocean City after attempting to purchase items from a resort convenience store with a bag of dope. Michael Autry, 27, of Bel Air in May walked into the 7-Eleven on 94th Street and grabbed a bag of chips and three bottles of Gatorade. When the clerk rang Autry up, he fumbled around in his pocket and was only able to produce a $1 bill. The clerk told him that wouldn’t cover it and Autry went back to his pockets again, this time producing a baggie of marijuana. The now frustrated Autry reached into the baggi…

from:smh.com.au http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/illici...7740183595.html Firstly, I don't think teens should take drugs, including alcohol. I started at 14 and think it was way too young. Funny that this article seems to suggest alcohol as a gateway drug. Personally I think alcohol is probably the most serious drug problem of all. I still have problems thinking of cannabis as a drug of addiction as my own experience is that it is ridiculously easy to give up. 14% there for cannabis addiction! I guess everyones different.

Colorado -- A Fort Collins couple and their lawyer plan to visit the Larimer County sheriff's office Wednesday in hopes of recovering 39 marijuana plants seized by narcotics officers during a raid at their home in August 2006. A Larimer County District Court Judge ruled Monday that authorities must return the plants and growing equipment taken from James and Lisa Masters. Their lawyer described them as medical marijuana providers for themselves and about 8 to 10 other people. Brian Vincente, lawyer for the couple, hopes authorities have taken care of the plants as provided by the state's medical marijuana law, which was approved by voters in 2000. "If they've allowe…

Vic roadside tests......2 years figures 1 2
by Rocker- 14 replies

Before we all get too bothered about roadside drug tests have a look at these figures. There the first two years testing in Vic. 24,413 drivers were tested. 321 tested positive for methamphetamine. 105 for both meth and cannabis. 35 for cannabis alone. 35 from 24213. I believe these figures prove they are only looking for intoxicated drivers. If that isn't the case I presume most of the cannabis produced in OZ is going straight to the rubbish tip. Think about it. Two years figures remember.
