Hey SE, what sort of coverage does your 600W HPS produce?

 

below is the coverage for my 630W CMH.

 

I have the light at 75cm above canopy, so coverage approximately 1.5m x 1.3m with the focal reflector.....   

 

 

My box is 1.6 X1.6 ,,,,,with vertical globe at roughly 50-60 cm above canopy for bloom .

And yeah Tunks ,he's making leds now ....thought there was hope for you Billy .

Bit like cars.. There no substitute for horsepower. If you got enough lumen's, the reflector nearly becomes irrelevant.

 

I've proven this before with a reflector I made myself previously. Which was on par (grow wise) with a cooltube and batwing that I had also used previously.

I am sure the 630W CMH would light the 1.6m square space too... but are the outer edges not being lit adequately?

data, ok..  Grew just under a lb (dried & cured) every time with a Philips Son-T 600w bulb, 600w magnetic ballast (JBL), and any of the reflectors I mention above. The screen was 1.1m x 1.1m

 

That'll do me for data.

No Billy the outer edges with a cmh won't be lit enough ,,that why the HPs covers my 1.6 sq space.,,,corners too,,,(.youve seen the pics.)

 

That's what stopped me going CMH.
