Greens announce national plan to legalise cannabis.

You would also assume there would be better quality control than the current product that commercial growers provide. Your average criminal gang will harvest early and probably couldn't care whether they sprayed recently with pesticide or not.

Growers would still be able to grow 6 plants which should be enough for any half decent grower. We wouldn't have to live in fear of being busted.

It's a risk we all know and agree to. Everyone has good reasons to get into this.

In US and canada they still grow indoors a lot with indica dominant genetics. In Australia, I reckon if legal, most of the farms would be outdoor or greenhouse given our climate. It would mean an end to the PGR hydro that floods our country, replaced by naturally grown outdoor and greenhouse, maybe a resurgence of Sativa varieties that grow so well here. I think that a licence to grow commercially would come along with regulations about what products you can use and hygiene controls etc. No doubt some farms would go for Organic Certification which would be a good thing for those of us who swing that way  :sun:  :gardening:

Aqua, it is a risk we know. It's not one I ever agree with. I have always thought I was morally right in doing what I choose as long as I don't harm others.

I am in it because I don't want to buy stuff that I don't know what variety it is, or how it was grown.

Bloodshot, love the idea of organic sativa's. Exactly my choice.

Pedro, large organised crime would be the big losers out of this. Do you really want product out there from them? Yeah we are all criminals, but that's the point, we don't have to be. It's great to want to free the weed but it's not going to happen in Australia in this life or the next. It hasn't even happened in California.

It would be interesting to know how easy or hard it would be to get a licence to sell. Anyway I am in fantasy land, this is just a proposal by a party with 10% of the vote at this stage.

I admit i know bugger all about politics but i have figured out 1 things its like a ultimate trade of with political parties. They tell each other if you support this from me then ill suport that from you. Question is how much are the Greens willing to give to get this pass and how would those decisions effect Australians.

As you know freddie i'm a bit of a capitalist and a big fan of public ownership of essentials like water, power, roads all roads, and the defense of the cuntry

i'm also for personal freedom, the type that lets all of us compete in an open cannabis market

we could all run our own small business, selling cannabis to those in need, that can't supply themselves

why does it have to be large organizations getting all the action, that is the bullshit political slavery we are under

socialist democracy's looking after the multinational capitalists and putting us ALL into debt to the fake money printers

isn't it fucking great, i'm neither a left or right, they are both the same thing $$$$
