ZEN2U Posted May 11, 2014 Report Share Posted May 11, 2014 True, but when you combine the power saving, heat reduction, only one light needed and the stealth from the power reduction on multiple lights in a larger grow. it is not so clear cut. Plus I love the idea of one light that does the whole job, so you are cutting down on equipment. Earthling Posted May 12, 2014 Report Share Posted May 12, 2014 hey tangwena, the new LEC lamps wont run on a standard ballast, they have completely changed the lamp design. its now a very small bulb with a dual pin base rather than a screw in base. here is the place i used to get my phillips CMH lamps though if your interested http://www.ebay.com....=item19dded63ba he does sell them single too im sureThey have sold out of 400w Only has 250w's left.
