sup dudes. sorry if this is the wrong section to post in but anyways winters been creepin up and i got my parents to build a fire place couple years ago. its an open fire place and every now and again i like to get a fire going. getting to the point i did some research and found that the smoke released from wood is pretty toxic, apparently as bad if not more than ciggies. the say that the particles of ash/dust penetrate deep into your lungs irritating them and causing cancer; bronchitus etc. anyone know if this is true/over exagerated? got me thinking does smoking pot have the same affects, carcinegons etc. Last reply by syco7, Last reply by syco7,

There's an excellent poll here started by niall about the price of an ounce, but it was started way back in 2003! So here's one for 2007 It's exactly the same as the 2003 poll so i'll use niall's original wording ... Thanks for voting! Last reply by landonfig, Last reply by landonfig,

Hey guys, correct me if I'm wrong, but a very recent, and excruciatingly painful discovery has been made by the Burner. Cannabis has the undisputed ability to effectively relieve pain of various forms. But I now know of one form of pain that cannabis has absolutely no effect on. Toothache. I swear, no matter how many cones I pulled, the pain did not dissipate in any way, shape or form. Right now, i'm dosed to the gills on codeine, feeling pretty fucking average, but no longer in agony. The wonderful thing is, every bong is bliss at the moment, not a smidge of pain for at least five minutes, that's only twelve cones an hour:-) Last reply by Rattrap,

As I have stated, I am a long term smoker, and daily user. I also have some illnesses that cannabis use can benefit, though not legally prescribed. I also use, to a lesser degree, synthetics to manage one of my conditions, because I choose not to work under the influence of cannabis. I am posting this self study of my past and present use of cannabis, mostly because I am bored, but also to say to to you all, farewell. After 26 years, I'm quitting the puff. I personally feel that it is the right thing to do for myself, at this present time, in order to get shit back on track. Priority number one is health, have not been able to eat properly, every time I do I feel na… Last reply by El Kabong,

Male cannabis-users are needed for a University of Queensland study examining the drug?s continued popularity among Australians. Psychiatry Department researchers are seeking men who have used cannabis during the last month, have no history of psychiatric treatment, live within 20kms of the CBD and are aged over 18. Researcher Bob Green said his study would compare the cannabis experiences of people with and without psychiatric problems. Despite the possibility of arrest and health problems, recent Australian household surveys report that more than 30 percent of those surveyed have tried cannabis. ?In a 2001 survey, 12.9 percent of people said they had used ca… Last reply by Goofster..,

The cursed cost per yield, raises it's ugly head with every new purchase, that I don't mind, until the electricity bill arrives then ....it's second doubts as to the future of the newly acquired asset. With serious discipline I have reduced my cursed power bill down to a miserable $1.92 ? a month at the moment I only have an air pump on running 24/7 for clones at the moment, but come june/july once again that will be above $200.00 pm -ish math for costing (180 L air pump 240vac .40w) 10 days x 24 hours = 240hours x 40 watts = 9600w /1k =9.6 x .20 cents(avg) =$1.92 My current grow is large and external, extending the veg time by using those shitty bunnings … Last reply by Faith,

Hey I'm new but I thought I'd ask because its a something that I think many fellow adventurous smokers might relate to. I was just wondering if anyone new how effective the edification programs in the hunter region of the wild weed were and if any wild crop could still be growing? I think it's something all smokers must fantasties about, coming across a massive bounty of weed growing somewhere in the bush! Last reply by Frank Reynolds, Last reply by Frank Reynolds,

Hey All, I noticed a day or two ago that there is a special themed issue on "Endocannabinoids in nervous system health and disease" in the Dec. 5, 2013 issue of Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B. The table of contents can be found at this link: http://rstb.royalsocietypublishing.org/content/367/1607.toc This is serious research material for people working in the field, and I would not expect to understand everything here. It does look like there are some good "review" type articles though. I have access to PDFs through the university library here, so if anyone looks at the TOC and sees something they want to read but can't access, let me know and … Last reply by Vape, Last reply by Vape,

I've been undertaking some human testing of cannabis strains over the past few days - granted this is no way scientific, legal, nor ethical. I'm really liking my Maui Waui strain, the high is energising and makes me want to do stuff. To see if I was imagining the energising effects, I switched my hubby's usual indica dom strain (Wonder Woman) with the 70%sativa Maui Waui. He has no idea I've done this and says one strain is as good as the next, and no, he doesn't even notice the different taste of the canna... Day 1 - he had a few cones after work and then OMG, he got up and does the lawn - that's a first Day 2 - once again a few Maui cones after work and bam-o he won… Last reply by Matanuska Thunder, Last reply by Matanuska Thunder,

http://www.globaldrugsurvey.com/mixmag2013/ I've just completed the survey above and thought I should share the link for anyone who is interested. The details and reasons for the survey are explained on the link. It wasn't the shortest survey, but I felt it might contribute to ending the war on drugs and the demonisation of drug users (I'm not that confident it will, but it feels like the right thing to do). You aren't obliged to provide any identifying details, I did and feel assured they won't be disclosed (my date of birth was the most personal thing they asked for). Anyone else want to contribute?
