High All ... Bit late on this one but thought I'd mention it. Great read, lots of useful info, and something you want to keep around as a reference guide. There were a few other weed related books there, but after careful deliberation and an hour of page-turning i went with this one and I'm glad i did. Highly recommended, though i'm not sure of its availability in Oz.

Although this short clip has people influenced by other drugs, the story takes us on a sniffer patrol and gives a bit of insight into the 'hard criminals' raging on our public transport systems who hold just a few grams of personal stash. this attack on people's personal libities; chasing after people with sniffer dogs for a few grams of any drug is saddening and a waste of money, they rarely catch dealers. So I got a whole heap of movies and have been slowly going through them all. Spotted this one called Idiocracy and checked it on IMDB to see if it was worth watching sooner or should wait till later and figured its worth having a look at. I put it on and at first thought "omg this is going to be pretty bad"...but by the end of it (well ignore the last 5 mins or so) I was in tears. Well worth a lookin.

the 2nd best book in the world to me after Hashish!. This book is old, but still the best on the subject of the botany of cannabis. It is not a grow guide, although it offers some good growing advice and would probably get someone through a crop, but it is primarily a scientific text on cannabis and cannabis breeding. There is no photos apart from the front and back covers, but many great diagrams of cannabis by rob himself. Then you have this person with a FAMILY HISTORY of psychosis saying cannabis caused his psychosis (maybe it was a symptom that you were abnormal, the fact you were smoking at 11), then it has this woman on fucking legal speed, ie dexamphetamine, blaming dexy's for making her want to smoke weed, jesus I can't even be bothered commenting anymore.
