There is no pharmacological free lunch in cannabis or any drug. Negative reactions can result. A small percentage of people have negative or allergic reactions to marijuana. Heart patients could have problems, even though cannabis generally relieves stress, dilates the arteries, and in general lowers the diastolic pressure. A small percentage of people get especially high heart rates and anxieties with cannabis. These persons should not use it. Some bronchial asthma sufferers benefit from cannabis; however, for others it may serve as an additional irritant.

  3. Help needed

    I know I probably shouldn't be asking this but I don't know where else to go or who to ask. My Dad just had 2 knee replacements and could really do with some cannabis.     I have been seeing a psychiatrist for 11 years this february i'm abit of a head case main problem is schitzophrania,major depression i have been on highest doses of antipsychotic and anti depressants for around 10 of those years Now about 1 year ago my treating dr reduced my medication 1/4th the dose and around 5 6 months later i went off the rails like a absolute lunatic so me dr bumped up the medication again Now looking at research on the medications in long term use they should be stopped after 10 years this is probably why the dr was reducing my medication, the medication has left me feeling motionless, unmotivated, find it hard to show effection and love new peo…

  8. metastatic cancer and pain management

    Hi Helpful people:) I'm seeking recommendations of doctors in the Gold Coast region who could work with my Dad's oncologist and pain specialist to manage his pain. The doctors have been unable to make a dent in his pain since his most recent admission to hospital 4 days ago. They changed from targin and endone to lyrica and endone but nothing is helping.     Background At the age of 12 my lower back was broken and my spinal cord injured. As a result I've been in a wheelchair ever since. The lower back pain is tolerable and I could live with synthetics for the most part if that were the only problem.   15. Have I been scammed?

    Many months ago I found a company in Australia who was doing medicinal marijuana. At first, I ordered the oil and while it tasted like weed, it absolutely didn't have any effect. Then I ordered the dried herb. It came in a light green color and was very dry and crumbly. When i smoke it, it makes me dazed but theres something missing and not much of a high at all. It reminds me a lot of this stuff you used to be able to buy in Aus called Puff. It has the same effect. Yet the company seemed legit, had doctors i skyped with, a legit chemist etc. What am I smoking?
