HEMP has bolstered the call of ‘FAIL’ by other Medical Cannabis (MC) advocacy groups around the nation, in response to federal health minister Greg Hunt’s announcement that Australia has legalised MC. http://australianhempparty.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/bent-laws1.jpg In reality, the legislation will bend some laws to allow a foreign company to export a small amount of Cannabis into Australia so that another company can distribute it under the strictest of conditions to a very limited number of patients around the nation. HEMP Party secretary Andrew Kavasilas is calling for fresh thinking on the subject. “I believe the Australian government is being dragged kicking …

Gday Jan & fellow OZ stoners Ive been sitting here on the fence reading this thread Questions for the NCPIC since it was conceived and i can see a at least 2 flaws that need to be delt with if this thread is to go any where..... 1. I can understand that this is a touchy subject for most but i do not see that there is any reason for any insults to be targeted at all towards jan.. keep it civil please.. 2. There is so many questions being asked to jan that im thinking it must be abit of a information over load for her and there should be a better way to do this.. I have no questions at moment since most have already been asked (but not answered) but i will s…

Hey everyone! As we all know roadside drug testing is just trojan horse zero tolerance drug policy under the guise of road safety so as to garner public support for the harrasment of cannabis and other drug users. Every state and territory now uses some form of drug testing for road users and between them all there is little consensus as to how long we should be waiting before driving again. Which would be info that might actually help improve road safety. So, in acknowledgement of this cluster fuck that is drug testing I thought I'd get the ball rolling here to look at how long it takes for cannabis metabolites to stop showing positive by collating the communities …

The HEMP Party and the Nimbin HEMP Embassy are revelling in additional Cannabis law reforms, this time in relation to hemp seed now legally grown in Australia and available for human consumption in Australia. To mark this nutritionally historic occasion, the Nimbin HEMP Embassy will be offering free samples of hemp seed and hemp seed oil and tasting all this month. Andrew Kavasilas, HEMP Party Secretary and founder of the Nimbin based hemp company Vitahemp said, “It’s a watershed moment on many fronts. Hemp seeds nutritional qualities are unparalleled so we’ll have a truly healthy food finally available with new farming opportunities including access to an international m…

I'm interested in starting a movement to let the Govt know exactly what we think of their pathetic new laws on medical Canna and tell them exactly what we want, that we are adults capable of making informed decisions on this matter and to stop treating us with contempt. I firmly believe if we stand up together, en masse, across the country. We can make positive change, the science has already been proven, most people know it is a medicine, all we need is to get the attention of politicians buy appealing to the one thing they are really interest in, votes. All we need is to get together, we have the numbers! If we can just get all interested in the future of Canna…

Fellow stoners, I'm hoping to raise awareness and support for the upcoming Melbourne FCC Rally on April 20, a community gathering held in solidarity with 420 events being held on April 20th around Australia and the world. https://www.facebook.com/events/265237920588130/ I encourage all of our Victorian/Melbourne members to come down to Flagstaff Gardens next Thursday and support the cause. With legalisation romping ahead around the world I feel it's important to stand up and be counted. I can't contribute much to cannabis activism due to the small community in which I live, but this is an opportunity to contribute, albeit in an anonymous way.

http://australianhempparty.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/healthier2-730x382.jpg During the last few years there has been a dramatic reversal in the legal status of Cannabis around the world. For decades classified as an addictive substance with no medical uses Cannabis is now being applied effectively to relieve symptoms of serious diseases including epilepsy, neuropathic pain and cancer. The benefits in providing relief without side effects where all allopathic drugs have failed is very obvious to patients and their carers, so the question must be asked as to why this healing substance was demonised and banned for decades in the first place. The global prohibition of Can…
