I've been looking at soil mixes and the only one that really stands out to me is the Canna Terra Pro, + Canna Terra Vega & Flores. How solid is this stuff, is it worth it? I just want a solid medium for the plants to grow in, I'm aware that making your own soil is the best option (cheaper, less commerical etc..) but i just want to not have to worry about the soil being bad quality. As the for the nutrients as well, i'm sure that I'd want to stick towards using their range over anything else right? Thanks for reading, if you have any other soil recommendations/nutes please comment down below

Greetings, Been putting together a simple indoor grow for a while now and have gotten to the final step of trying to figure out nutes. I'm growing an autoflower in 1/3 mix of basic soil, peat moss and perlite. I bought 2 sets of "Biobizz Try-Pack" that include a veg, bloom, and some bullshit yield enhancer or whatever. Was wondering if i need to bother with these though as i bought bottles of Powerfeed and Seasol earlier today, or if i need to bother with the Powerfeed and Seasol if i'm using the Biobizz nutes? Added the dolomite lime in the pic because why not, maybe someone could shed some light on whether I'll need that too (it was more of an impulse buy after rea…

Hi guys. New to growing. Pretty close to finishing my grow cabinet. Going to use hydro deep water culture setup with air stones. I have no idea what brands of nutrients to use though. We have a hydro shop here but I am hesitant to ask for advice from them until I know more. Do any of you have any recommendations as to a reasonably priced brand of nutes that is available in Aus? Thanks

Hey people Soon to be first time grower here. Doing plenty of research on making a good soil and I'm a bit overwhelmed! I will be growing indoors, just a couple of plants, for my own supply. I'd like to produce some good quality, tasty buds! I was hoping that maybe a few of you would post your successful soil recipes here please? Brands and quantities would be greatly appreciated. Much of the research I have done is very USA based, so some Aussie advice would be great. Thanks in advance!

Hello. Germinating my seeds and it's all going well. I am planting in organic potting mix in air-pots. I want to use Seasol during vegetative growth, are there any other Bunnings nutrients that will work well? I also know of Powerfeed. Any nutrients appropriate for flowering would also be handy. I've seen other threads on this forum about Seasol, Bunnings nutrients, etc., but they're very scattered, so I thought this could serve as a currently up to date post with information for people that have, or want to, use Bunnings nutrients for their plants.

Medium - straight coco in 3 Gal fabric pots. Nutes - House and Garden and a bit of calmag sometimes (to be sure, to be sure) Watering Method - DTW I'm in week 4 of flower (or there abouts) of my NL grow and finding that my every second day watering is not enough. My PPM is anywhere between 800-900 at the moment when I feed. I'd like to change to a daily watering. Because I'm doing so, should I be reducing my PPM to let's say 700? MLG.

So then i'm having trouble with some of my plants and im digging deep into the plethora of information on ph.... I use a funny mix which has always worked well for me and ive been keeping it at a ph of 6.0. I use ozi magic nutes along with this mix The mix consists of about 50% coco, 10% compost/worm castings etc, 25% perlite, 10% 5mm gravel & 5% river sand. With dolomite lime at 2tbsp/gallon. I tried just coco and perlite and it retained waaay too much moisture. So my question is what is the correct ph for a mix like this? Should i treat it like a hydro/coir medium or does the addition of a small amount of organic matter and some lime make it a "soil" mix? Al…

I'm embarrassed to admit this but we are here to learn. I think I've been making a big...monumental mistake in my last 2 grows. In summary, I've used H&G A ONLY for veg and H&G B ONLY for when I switch to flower. I know this is wrong now... The guy at the hydro shop last year said that was the way to do it.... Did H&G do this in the past? Have A for veg and B for flower? MicMac, hoping you can chime in because I know you use the H&G coco line. Tell me that I've been doing things wrong and please explain the correct way, the way you do it. MLG

Hi All, So I been a Canna man for a many years now. Simple and Easy. But I am moving toward powder nutes for a few reason, price, storage, less trips to the hydro store and I want to play around with my own levels. I have come accross NPK - RAW nutes ( http://www.npk-industries.com/ ). They are US based, I asked my friendly Hydro shop owner and they said they cant get them in due to permitting reason. Has any one seen these products in Australia or Has anyone been able to get them in. Main produces I was looking at getting are there Silica, Amino Acid, and Humic Acid. Any info would be great. Thanks

I'm on the hunt for a Z7 replacement. It's advertised as an enzyme cleanser. Basically feeds on bad bacteria and keeps reservoir clean as fuck. During my search I happened upon cyco Zyme which seems similar. Has anyone used this or have any idea if this could be an alternative? Mignht be talking to myself again but didn't want to spend money if it's useless..

So the missus got a sewing machine. I have some landscapers fabric in the shed. I'm going to have a go at sewing my own fabric pots. Now I know the normal shapes I bought from ebay but if I am making one from scratch I have the chance to make it to the dimensions which would suit our plant the best. So, short and squat or tall and narrow? I grow in coco DTW. MLG Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app
