Hey everyone, can anyone out there help us with this one.I have two large plants going to mush, it started with the bottom leaves going yellow, then dead patches appearing which then advanced to destroying the whole leaves. The leaf itself is soft and leather, with the leaf stem being the last thing to die. This ends with the whole branch becoming soft and and dying. Now i,ve given them the usually treatment of peroxide and "pythoff plus" but with little effect. Can anyone else suggest anything else?

The plant has been going yellow for a few days now. only the bottom sets of leaves though (looks like it's slowly working it's way up) the top is still nice and green. It's raining in syd atm so i've got the plant inside under a 400 watt HPS. I always water this plant once a day. He's never really had any nute either. i take it nute would prolly help yea?

I planted 4 seeds in soil about 2 weeks ago and three of them sprouted a bout 1 week ago. since then there has been barely any growth in any of the plants in a whole week... maybe one cm at most. Is this normal. My setup is kind of a mix of indoor/outdoor,the plants are in soil but at the moment I'm using 2 fluros about 20 cm above them. I haven't used any nutes or anything, just light and water. Do they need more light? or more water? better soil? any help would be great. high_hoper

I have been told that the first leaves that form (the circle ones) are meant to fall off. True? anyway, now the next set of leaves up from it are going yellow is this normal? if not what can i do to save him? it's an outdoor plant. hasn;t been much sun around lately so i'm been bringing him inside and putting him under a grolux fluruo light thingy. i don't really give him any nutes. only a bit of charlie carp everynow and then (every 2-3 weeks)...... he has had alot of water lately, due to rain. could that be why?

My lady, most unoriginally named Mary, is nearing finishing, the trichomes are becoming large and the calyxes have swollen. About 50% red hairs, with lots of new growth at the tips of each bud. Some of these tips are 1 leaflet and some 3 leaflets. The resin glands themselves are becoming more and more noticable, and they are all clear under 100 and 200 x magnification. Now, here's the thing, or should I say things. The first is probably just a cosmetic thing, I don't really know if this is common or not, but she has no capitate stalked trichomes on her leaf parts, even the ones in the centres of the buds! Is this something that only develops late in the flowering,…

I am very very new to growing, I'm about to but a Hydro setup but while i was saving my money i decided to put a few outdoor seeds in, anyways....... 1 plant poped up, I've been treating it like it's my baby, it's been growing rather slowly but everyone i've shown it to says it looks like a very nice plant. anyways.... I was down the Hawksbury fishing today and my plant was outside sucking up the sun, we were about 20 mins into fishing and I saw one mother of a storm coming my way and the first thing that poped into my head was FELIX (he's my plant.... yes yes i did name him.... and hopefully it comes out a she.. anyway) I raced home as quick as i could, ran inside…

Hey guys, I want to know if anyone can help me identify these little buggers which are slowly hurting my plants. These bugs are really small, less than 1mm, and are white. They are not grubs, they walk and can jump. I have been finding them in the water which sits in the lower pots of my system which they seem happy to swim around in. I grow in a top watering system in coco. 1 pot sits in another which has a drain hose attached to it. The drain runs outside, so maybe they are coming from there. If I do not keep on top of these bugs with scarid fly drench, they work there way up to the top of the pots and can be seen walking around the top of the root system. I don't want …

Dunno if anyone else has this problem but I always get ants nestin in my plants. For years now I have had a returning colony of ants in my grow shed. They nest in the actual pots themselves. I grow in 19 inch pots using recycled nutes. The ants are actually nesting in the rocks in my pots. Great to watch at flush times as they start carrying millions of eggs up the branches. They also nest in the insulating polystyrene blocks I use to keep the nute 'brains' off the concrete floor. I have to replace these regularly as they are burrowed into by the ants & used as nestin chambers. It gets so bad that last grow I had shit loads of ants that had gotten stuck to the resin g…

I have a friend who has a problem - his plants seem to be reverting to a veg stage or something. Two plants in a recirculating system under 2 x 400w lights, using an organic product called PsychoFinish for the last couple of weeks of flowering stage (it was recommended to him by a few more experienced growers). The plants look great, lovely sticky buds, all the hairs still nice and white. However in the last week or so the buds seem to have developed a taste for re-vegetating, with pretty vigourous regrowth of leaves in the top layer of buds. The rest of the buds further down the plant look fine, ie still have 'hairy heads' but the top ones on both plants are stacking a n…

My 2nd outdoor (dunny) crop is proceeding well but, just like last year, I find little white spots on my leaves (I think perhaps something very small on the undeside eating throo'). I grow pyrethrum in the room and occasionally spray with a tea made from this but to little avail. I have heard that ladybugs can do a fine job of removing insect pests - does anyone know where to buy or how to attract ladybugs ?

hey guys, recently got some clones off a mate, before this my garden has been totally pest free, but now I have noticed tiny little yellowish bugs on the underside of the leaves... I asked him about them and he said that they had been in his grow for a couple of seasons and didnt do any damage, but I still dont like the idea of any pests at all on my plants... should I use pyrethium spray or something or will they be ok....?
