G'day all first time poster new to the site. I've been given 3 sativa clones from a friend and I've dug a hole and planted them in the same soil mix that they were potted in and they were doing fine for a week, went down to water them, two were wilted and checked them and they came out in my hand from about an inch below the surface, they didn't look rotted, looked like they had been chewed. went down two days later and the same thing happened to the last one, any ideas on what type of bug might have eaten them and how to stop it. Preferably with no nasty chemicals . Area in question Central Queensland coastal, hope someone can help please. …

Hey guy's and girl's, just wanted to shout out a huge thanks to everyone who shares there experiences, tips, tricks and overall general knowledge on this site. As an old timer i was stuck in my ways of growing because i thought it was pretty good until i accidentally found OS a few months ago. I'm blown away by how much i have learned in this time and it's all because of you generous people who give the time to help teach others. Thankyou. Not sure if im posting this right...im still in denial about needing glasses. Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hey Fellas I usually throw a few plants in each summer and get a few oz's for myself. This year i thought i would try something different so i ordered a hydro setup and some auto fem white widow seeds. We arent doing the hydroponic setup for a few more weeks so i thought i would throw one of the white widow seeds into a pot n see how it goes outdoors. The below photos were taken 9/01/2018 From seed the plant is currently aged 5weeks. Any input would be good , how its growing and so on as this was just a trial. - The plant itself has gone through hell and back , it needed a transplant at 4 weeks old due to really shitty soil which was unknown at the time, it suffered…

I found this page about cannabis companion planting: https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/content/136-list-of-companion-plants-for-quality-cannabis some interesting stuff. Anyone have any experience or got any ideas about what you can plant along side your medicine? In my garden I have lavender, mint, catnip and garlic which I hope helps to repel insect or attract insect predators I have also been using chamomile tea spray and I think I will try grow some actual chamomile next year, the spray was very effective at getting rid of bugs and according to that website it also " Chamomile: Very efficient at accumulating calcium, potassium and sulphur, chamomile will release t…

I planted some Auto Critical Ogre autoflowering seeds outdoors this year as an experiment. Unfortunately I think I planted them about 4 weeks early and they didn't get enough light initially. Breeder says 9-10 weeks indoor, they have been growing now for 9 weeks outdoor and have little buds with some red hairs - they look like they might be ready in a week or 2 but very small - should i harvest then or leave them longer? I have been told to ignore the red hairs and just wait until fan leaves go yellow and drop off?

Hi all. I was wondering, is this the first signs of flowering and if so, could I still give my girl nutes with nitrogen for a while longer before swapping to flowering nutes? This is my one and only o/door, so I'm winging it... I'm using tomato and herb mix with about 20 to 25% perlite, seasol and super thrive. I hope my pics help. Hope you all had a good xmas and have a safe NY :-)

I want to try grow one outdoor plant, but - im the the first to put my hand up and say i literally have near to no experience with gardening, i've watched as many tutorials as i possibly can but im still confused by alot of things, are there like any aussie tutorials or guides to teach me how to completely grow from seed to harvest? like what to do, what to put in it and when to do so? Im confused about alot of the topping and tipping parts of growing aswell, I'd really appreciate the help! Ps: is it not too late to grow this time of the year in about a week? - Thanks!

Hi guys, first post here. Finally rrgistered after lurking for a long time. Of course i have a question :-) So an outdoor plant got sick just after starting to flower. dont know for the life of me what happened but after a flush and slowly bringing the nutes back up it came good. It was sick for about 2-3weeks so flowers stopped developing just after they started. So continuing with bloom nutes it came good but didnt continue to develop flower. Instead looks like its vegging again just before flower. Growing beutifully it has probably gained another 1/3 in height. The earliest bud formations are also gradually dying off. daylight is about 13hrs at the moment so im wonde…

So every year I’m confused about when to start planting. (SE QLD) Got seeds from Southern Star. https://www.southernstarseeds.net/texas-guinan Sounds dumb but is “flowering time” the time it takes to flower from seed...or...how long it flowers for after it reaches maturity

First time I've grown any weed and I decided to grow something with a little sativa and something with a little more indica. Plants are grown outside with plans to be discrete and keep them shortish and hopefully not too stinky. Both plants have been topped and are in 5G fabric pots with cheap potting mix, coconut coir, perlite, chicken manure, dynamic lifter. I feed weekly with Powerfeed for vegies. The Durban Poison was started a month earlier than the Northern Lights and has started showing pre-flowers. Nirvana Northern Lights FEM: Dutch Passion Durban Poison FEM:

Have I got this right, folks? I'm in pots, outside, mushy compost, chook poo, organic potting soil, and organic compost. (All RICH GRO except for the chook poo blend.) SEASOL and GO GO JUICE for veg. POWER FEED for flowering. 1/4 strength to begin with and build from there. Or could I just use Yates All purpose for veg followed by Yates Bloom and Flower for flowering? OR (again) with the soil mix I'm using, could I just rely on that to get my plants through? Asking now as my seedlings are only a week old, if that. Oh and when would you recommend beginning adding nutes? Cheers, everyone. TT.
