Advertised flowering times

Recommended Posts

There's not much in it, SE. Most stuff appears to be wrapped up by late April in the Southern part of the State. Some long finishing satties can push into May.

But to the subject of "Finishing Time" 10 or so years ago the general consensus was the moment you reduced the lighting to 12/12 or whatever. Though present day it seems to be as what SE mentioned, once the first sign of bud is forming.

I'm guessing you'll be well and truly done by the end of April, Cantgrow. Probably closer to early to mid April more like it.

Depends on how big you want your plants to be, unless as SE stated about auto's (massive outdoor trees may not be a great thing in Qld, harder to hide BIG plants). The earlier you plant (nearer to now) the bigger they will be before the daylight hours start dropping and the plants go into flower mode.

Like people have said the plant will flower as the season changes, not based on the maturity of the plant.

You'll see some growers change to flower mode 12/12 straight from seedling. Which produces less bud but obviously faster production.

So plant and see how big it gets before it's flowering time.
