gday guys wondering if you could assist please. say i have some old seeds, 1-2 years old!! would there be any chance to grow from this? worked fine before with fresh seeds but this is a different situation. any chance with these old seeds (5-10 of them) making something good? any tips? cheers!

Hi guys, I have a question about my first baby's premature death. It was fine when I checked it this morning, and about an hour ago I came home, and the stem had bent at soil level and it was drooping sadly against the plastic cup in which it was growing in. I've been growing it in a jiffy pot, and only watering it when the 'soil' turns a lighter brown colour. I'm not fertilising at the moment but I am watering it with mainly pond water. I leave it outdoors too so I don't reckon light is the major issue here. I've piled some more soil around it, so that it has more support now, but I'm not hopeful that it'll pull through.. any suggestions as to what the problem is? …

Hi, I am new to forums and new to growing so posted this in a few spots..hope I haven't pissed anyone off.. I live in small hot town far north WA and grew first plant..it died after giving me some OK heads...why I dont know..anyway I want to try again but need seeds...where do I get seeds in Australia and is it legal? Appreciate any help..

Hey All, How are we this Sunny Saturday Morning??? I got an idea last night for a pantry setup with the shelves all removed. I figured a halogen lighting system (Star light 220W Full Unit) affixsed to the top, a single pot and seed in the bottom, black plastic to jam into the doorframe, Should work right??? Look honestly, I have no idea how to grow (My Dad did, I don't) but I am an afficienado of medicinal pot and seriously need to start my own supply. Please help Peoples, I just want a single plant setup thats very discreet. I trust your judgements

Can some one out there tell me if using a light rail will slow down the flower process. i know u obviously double you area but does this slow or affect anything as the light is not constant on the same area? Is 2 lights better than 1 on a mover for best results? How large an area are people covering with movers? Some rails are 2.4 long so i,m guessing that you can cover an area approx 1.2 wide by up to 3.5 long by running light to the end of the rail? BH

I'm thinking about keeping some clones in indoor storage until the time is right "next year" and then moving them outside and transplanting them in prepaired plots in late spring,,,or about now if it was this year,,,while the day light hours are still on the increase I would guess ???????. This would get around two issues for me,,,every one of them would be a known female,,and once in place I wouldn't need to vist as much as I have done in the past. Has any body else done this and if so,,how did it go. Thanks, John.

I am currently germinating some seed. I tried wet tissue method and leave the seed on them for a week. No progress at all, I maintained the tissue wet throughout the period. Is is possible that the temperature or the medium is not suitable? Items used: toilet disposable towel tap water disposable cup This is really making me mad. Advice me! Thanks!

I want to spread out the colas on my plant but they're getting a little solid to start bending as they're more than 60cm tall each, Can I use copper coated wire like what they use in Bonsai plants to gently turn them out, it would also help keep the stems firmer

Just wondering if anyone regrows there plants by pumping the lights back up after a cycle instead of using new clones/seeds? Also can you clone off a plant that has been reverted and get the same result as the previous cycle? Have heard some mixed results on this, some good some bad... BH

Whats happenin guys? Hope ur all well! Me and a few friends have recently been discussing attempting to grow a few plants in a woodland/park area near where we live. This is following an article i saw in High Times about Jorge Cervantes discussing what he calls guerilla growing. Has anyone attemped something similar? And do you guys have an advice? Cheers

Hoping someone can help me out with some advise in regard to lighting. Im currently germinating a few bad boy and am going to grow them outdoors. I plan on potting them and moving them in and out in their early stages. What sort of light should i be putting them under in the early stages?? looked at a 400w HPS but $$$$$. Gday everyone, I am in the process of getting organised for a SOG - I've never done a setup like this, so its all new territory for me. What are the best methods available, I'm trying to suss out whether i should buy tables to sit all the cubes/pots on, or what other options are out there. best way to water, flood, drip etc I'm setting up the large 2 door tent, approx 2.4 x 1.8 x 2.0 been a while since i've had her up - I've got a 1000w hps to go in along with a 600w under an aussie supa shade ( the one with the glass embedded) , but am considering putting in another 600w Any help you guys could give would be great, i'm heading to buy supplies for everything this…
