hey people o.k firstly, this probably goes against the grain of the socalled expert grower but i don't give a shit . it worked well for me. in september i put some indica seeds in. i normally grow sativa, but run out of weed, so i decided to put some short termers in. after sexing, i decided there were a couple of girls that weren't growing quite as well as the others.so i decided to hackem back. well, what a turn around.they went back into veg and put on another 2 ft.and still goin hard.they are only now starting to head up, whilst the others are only a week off pluckin. what i did was take about a third…

Im putting a seed into its initial pot this weekend to transplant outdoors for this season as I havent smoked decent bush for ages [i have 1 clone on the way for outdoors also and have a crappy plant outside already so I should get a female from one of them]. Welcome to my outdoor grow space - Ill put pics of the grow on here if everything goes well. Im wondering when the best time to transplant would be in relation to plant size [1M at most]?

i have had many problems with my crop so far...snails, neighbours, 20-30 police when a car crashed next door but in any case my babies are about 40cm tall and starting to branch my ladies and gents are looking mighty fine and are ready to be transplanted to their final growing spot... when sex is confirmed clones will be taken and males ripped out...might take a cutting of each strain that is male to make some seed as well + a few personal hybrids :: hopefully i will get a digi cam soon and be able to take some decent pix so i can show off my babies...

I have 2 Early Durban and 1 Haze Special growing in soil under 600MH. I want to put these outside about end second week of september. I am going to force flower them with 24 hours of dark and than drop lights back to 12/12 HPS. After about a week or until the buds start to show I'll put them outside. About 14th september. What does everyone think will it work, or will they revert back to veg... Also do you measure day time from twilight or sunrise times? Any advice would be appreciated

I planted one seed of white widow the other day as a test run, 2 days ago I got 1 seedling pop up as I expected, then today I've noticed that another shoot is popping up aswell. I was wondering if the plant is defected or if it is a twin and both shoots will grow normally. Is this a common occurance or is it rare for this to happen. The soil I used was also quite high in nutrients. It was a mixture of potting mix and some other soil from around the property. Also is it normal for the seedling of this strain to appear smaller in size than seedlings of other strains. Could it be the effect of the extra shoot causing the growth stunt. It appears healthy but it looks like the…

ive been thinking of growing a few plants outdoors come summer time, coz i got no air conditioning and it will be too hot indoors with the hps light. i am renting a unit and the landlords have not needed to go into the yard since they bought the place 6 mths ago so i dont see a problem with them. Its a side yard though with access through a gate, but the gas meter is located in it, so im wondering what my chances are of being busted by the gas man? does anyone know of anybody being dobbed in by service people? its only a small yard so i couldnt put the plants in a tin shed or anything so i could use a shade cloth?

well hello all... i have been a little quiet of late...but no more...the time has come the walrus said...... so it's time to germ the beans so here is the line up *Ozgum *Grapefruit x Haze *C99 *Verry Berry x Blue Hen *Swazi x Skunk (or is it just swazi skunk...bugger i can't remember!) a couple of these babies will have to be put in pots (which ones i have not yet decided) and the rest will be going in beautiful rich red volcanic soil prepped with home made compost and mixed manure... so the process is under way...will keep you all posted bacchus

This is my first post in this forum, even though I've 'lurked' around for a while. Has anyone had trouble with termites eating roots, and the inside of the main stem before ? And if you've had this trouble, what measures have you found effective in combating them ? Both as an after-measure, and preventative. Thanks, Spur http://www.shef.ac.uk/uni/projects/taplab/images/termite.jpg
