First grow indoors in winter. What is the lowest temperature the plants can survive before I cry if they die. Whilst on veg cycle no problem with cold BUT now I have switched back to flower 12/12. It runs from 7am to 7pm and normally in winter I think I would flower overnight as it's in a tent but with a few visitors coming to stay for a night or two on this grow I've had to this time flower during the day. I still leave the internal circulating fan going all night as it is quiet but I can't run the intake and outakes due to noise factor. The lowest it has got to on the thermometer is 17 celcius, how low can it get to before I run the risk of it dieing, I realise a fros…

Hey Guys, Some might remember my failed outdoor grow from last year... This year I'm going to start again but I have a problem. I have a new partner she's cool with me smoking the bud but growing the bud she'd probably go mental like my previous housemates did. So my issue is I need ways to grow without her finding out, I can't do any crazy shit like an indoor grow in ceiling haha Any ideas?

Guys any idea's where the best place is to order good genetics in breeders packaging with best possible chance getting it thru customs? it will be one pack only looking at Nirvana Big Bud Pre99 after my friends LED grow of this strain. Looking back at last 2wks when I went from led for seedlings and small plants to 600w hps here is what went wrong . 1.... plants dried out looked similar to nutrients burn 2.... humidity below 40% temps 28 to 31deg 3....unstable environment 4....amount of air exchange After many countless hrs of watching and recording info , buying humidifier,searching web for hrs looking for something similiar, No matter what I tried no improvement, clutching at straws I decided to switch exhaust fan off for a couple of days using the vents in the tent as ventilation so opened 1 vent at bottom 2 at the top and recorded info over next 2 days, well what do you know temp range 24to 30 de…

Was trying to work out why my plants aren't well checked everything water ph soil ph drainage ventilation temperature lights were good even went to extent of checking light meter values still no success, after checking grow diary I noticed my humidity never got above 40% my plants looked dry and showed what I thought was but burn or light burn under the led red light you could really see the difference in colours of leaves, I thought maybe a wet towel in bucket of water would help , still no good so I went and brought a humidifier and bingo humidity 60% maxing at 80% the growth and improvement has been significantly increased . So everyone says if you're growing in hydro mediums you need a pH pen. I was always like "yeah, I'm sure I can get by with pH strips". Finally after mixing a few batches of nutes and guessing that the pH strip was measuring between 5 and 6, I thought I was fine, but decided to get a pen as it seemed faster and more accurate. Well....I tested my current mix of nutes and they were at 7.6. Yikes! So glad I found out early on in my grow. Moral of the story is, you need a pH pen if you're growing in hydro. Get a pen.

I have been a smoker for probably 39 yrs have read a lot about med mm and thc & cbd counts what I can't seem to get my head around is how different strains can be used to treat different ailments,unlike pres drugs which are specifically made to target pain is specific ways what is that makes different strains target specific pain , don't get me wrong I know things like epilepsy cbd is a proven treatment as it is with cancer patients helping appetite but what scientific evidence to back up is there that a particular strain will target things like anxiety back pain etc ?

Hi all Question regarding finger numbers on leaves. Any truth to the idea that 3 or less fingers is less then desirable (unless its mongy weed) and can impact on potency? Ive got one thats more then 5 weeks after reveg and shes throwing 3,2 and single fingers. Will this trait be passed onto any clones or can i expect them to have the full 5/7 etc fingers once established?

Just starting my second grow with autos. It can be seen in the journal section of this site. I've been researching what the best light cycle is for autos. The general consensus is either 18/6, 20/4 or 24/0. Just wondering if anyone has any personal experience and has seen the difference it makes with these different light cycles? My first grow I did 20/4 the entire grow which worked well but I'm wondering if 24/0 may work even better. Thanks for any responses

Hi all. Have a Yantra South epi Sativa. Took these tops at the plants second topping 10 days ago. Have kept them in a light solution of season and put under 12\12. Very hard to see I will admit but I'm not sure if these are signs of pistils or the next set of small leaves. Not much happening at the nodes, just the tops. Any comments welcome. Tell me what you think. Cheers
