That one in the front looks very dry. ..go and get a knitting needle or bit of wire and poke holes down through the soil ...get a drop of detergent and place it in a bucket fill the bucket up and soak the pot in it for 20mins ..pull it out and let it drain ..

Id say the centre of your pot is bone dry possibly and the only bit getting water if it can grab it in time is the edge of the pot .make sure the water is not to cold.

Luke warm or slightly cooler.

Your soil could have become water repellant.

thanks cardrona you were right about both compared soil from sick plants to the others and seems like there was hard clumps and hard to push needle in compared to going in very easy on good ones also the fan was too big and drying soil out when I pulled one out to look there was a hard ball of dry and compact soil around the roots in my endeavour to improve on the first lot made a couple of silly mistakes thanks again you have been a great help I will run them all through the bucket aerate soil let you know in a couple of days should see some improvement by then

I am not an indoor person but in winter i would say you possibly could get away without a fan

....could be wrong or only a little one .....some one else might add a comment.

Pots and certain soils become hydrophobic ...they repel water....and get oil molicule beads on them .......get some "wetta soil "

..a 4 day old seedling will hit a pot edge or bottom quick over time this wraps the centre soil it becomes hard and when you water it only really goes a little on top but falls down the sides of the pot.if you pour in 2 litres....see how much comes out ...measure it ..after a while ...you will notice if they dont take up water ...

They should be standing up and glowing looking fresh and vigourous...nearly able to talk to you ....yours had there heads down .....look out for this ....when you see it they are dry.

But dont overwater ...either

mate you know your shit I never really checked any thing when growing outdoors just make make good soil and add water wait till the buds have a little amber beads on buds and they were ready so I was interested to see what ph my soul actually was so I brought a ph soil tester and soil moisture reader and was pleasantly surprised with one result the ph of the soil ranged from 5.8 to 6.4 the moisture level was showing wet at the bottom and dry the rest of the way the water I put in is 6.4 after a soak the response was immediate stood up straight away was a bit dubious about detergent but I now know why once your advice has been invaluable as I never have grown in pots b4
