Ok I am gonna be getting my exhaust fan this weekend and I was after a little info on what size I need for my growroom the first thing I did was get the area of the GR which is 2.4 m3 (cubic meters) then I figured the room need to have lots of fresh air passing through so I then multiplied the size of the room buy 45 times which gave me a total of 108m3 and that means that I need to have a fan that can can suck at least 108m3 per hour. also Incase it matters I will be using a pasive intake system my bottom line question is what size fan do I need ( how many mm )

just wondering what to do with the first initial leaf that shoots up . the two that are rounded do they stay on or get rid of them ive been told two different answers. the only reason for asking is that they seem to be still growing very slowly and i thought this might be the problem. cheers.

I was wondering if you guys could help me with a little info on training. firstly what is the best thing to use so I don't damage the plants I could imagine some things would cut the stem over time and pressure. and my next question is at what stage do you guys start trainign the plant do I have to wait till a certain stage of their growth ? . they are clones so they are already matured plants. the answer to those Q's or some links to training methods would be greatly appreciated thanx again

Just reflecting on the cost of setting up and maintaining an indoor grow. Apart from the initial costs of equipment, how much do you reckon you spend each year ? ( electricity, nutes, new bulbs etc )

hey ppl, so working on my stoner maths that my plant is on day 42 of flower with 14 days to go (should be about a 56 day/8 week cycle, pretty sure its an indica) i have started flushing her, the brown hairs are about 20-30% of the bud.. Is this about the right time? Any advice appreciated as i dont wanna bugger up the last bit of my grow Thanks

I'm using panda for my growroom walls it is wrapped around sqpvc pipe. In the mornings when I go check on my girls I find condensation on the walls etc. Any clues how to stop this? is this bad or good? It is kinda of like a rainforest in there. My room temp is ok. Thanks

I know this is a really dumb question, but is Indica usually that mellow "no paranoia" weed, and sativa more of a mind buzz? I know there's a difference but could someone explain it to me please? I don't want to grow really trippy horror stuff (and believe me I've had some really bad shit)

hey I was wondering what measurements people use per 10 ltr of this stuff neighther came with directions and I don't want to be adding too much of one and then having to add more of the other cause I imagine the less I use to balance it all out is better the reason I ask is that I have tried a few expeiments testing outside of the res but it never gets the result I want it is always a tiny bit too acidic or too alline based a figure in cc's or ml's is prefered but what ever you use is fine

The leaves I have seen on plants grown under fluro's seem to be larger then those grown under sunlight. If one was to try and get their plants to flower by taking them from 24 hour fluro light to sunlight, should one expect any sort of problems

Hi all, Just wondering if it is possible to keep a strain going on & on by taking clones from clones. I've heard that after a while the clones lose their vigour. Is this true? I am currently thinking of getting a motherplant chamber and take my cuttings off her but as always $$$ is a problem for the time being.

I am a first time grower but I have grown and cultivated quite a few sharmanic species and know a little about general plant care I was just after a little advice I got my clones today but I I still need a few peices to complete my hydro set what I was wondering is how would the plants take to a vermicilite, perlite , and coco mix temporaraly in a pot any one know or tried ? if so I would appeciate some ratios I was thining 1/3 perlite, 1/3 verm , 1/3 Coco ( basicly just replacing a grow mix in a few formulas I have seen that people use on this site ) will this work ? Remember it is only a temporary situation and they will be in a hydro kit within a week or two so do…

hey guys need a quick answer to a ? is it ok to have my 400 hps on a seed that has just poped up out of the grow wool. im having troubles trying to keep them warm. so i thought that the 400 hps would keep them a bit warmer . ive moved the light further away so it doesnt burn them . any help would be grateful .i have a purple fluoro but it doesnt seem to be warmer enough in there cheers .

hey guys . im using a turbo tank system and just wondering if i should be setting the timer to saturate the grow wool in the dark period . does the grow wool need to be wet during this period . will this cause any problems with diseases of such.

Hello All, I've got some seeds that say they have a 53 Day Flowering Period. Does this mean 53 days from the day I cut the light down to 12/12 OR 53 days from when the first flowers appear? Thanks again, dwyndorf
