hey im just wondering what would be the best kind of power board to use when growing in a wardrobe using a 400watt hps and 2 fans??? hasnt over loaded or anything yet, but im just concerned when it comes to storms :thumbdown for example, today it started hailing out of the blue, melted in 5 mins and stopped raining in 20 but there was a fair bit of thunder and lightning going which worried me....is easy to blow globes and start fires if your not carefull :thumbdown basically what im after is a power board that when its over loaded with power, shuts off for like 15 mins and has the ability to kill the connection before any damage can be done.....is that even possib…

hey everyone this is my 1st time growin & my 2 babies are about a foot maybe a foot and a half at 7 weeks and are blooming quite well i was just wonderin how long they take & at what size they begin 2 flower or bud...any help on this would be appreciated Cheerz :smoke

hy! i'm an outdoor gardener and just want to try the fun of growing indoor. please, anybody who has grown indoor on bio and SOG, what yield can i expect under good (good, not great) conditions with good strains like BB or NL?( grammspersquarefoot ) (because on some sites, i see up to 125 gr and on other sites i see 500 gr per 1 sqf for the same strain) thanks

Just wanted to know if/when I can cut some of the big leaves that seem to be blocking/shading the light to the little stems at the bottom of the plant ...its getting really bushy and crowded in there if you know what i mean... and can i cut and prune the plant as it grows ? Thanks anyway Peace

Ok,these bubble bag thing's seem to be the go when it come's to making the hash! Hey , How do I tell the difference between a male or female, It is said you can tell as soon as they start to sprout or do you have to wait till they begin flowering. I'm new at growing so any help is appreciated! I have 4 plants growing but I don't want a male near the female. Should I keep the male in a different room though! Thanx

Hey all , just got a HPS light an balast off a friend for a while, and when i got home and looked closely i noticed theres a 600w globe in there ?! I swithed it on , for curiositys sake, and it fired up ok, but im not gonna use it till i find out more.... My buddys quite a grower so is it possible he moddifed the ballast to run the 600w? Or is the globe just running with the 400w its supplied with ? ie not its fullest rating? Can i run it ? Basically thats all i wana know Either that or he jus gave me the wrong stuff!! Peace

I have a bunch of fairly old seeds (a few years) which I placed in a cup of water to soak before germinating, and on each one, there seems to be a little bubble coming out from the top of the seed. Does this mean they have air in them and aren't viable?

Ok so im sifting through this absolute mountain of information avaliable, and now ive got the options of indoor, hydro and outdoor. So could anyone outline the pros/cons of each of these. If i went with outdoor, it looks as though now is the best time to get going on this. So whats everyones preferred method? Also, I've seen all these seedbanks that ship internationaly. Does anyone use them, whats it like with customs? Or do you all get your seeds locally. I really want to start this as soon as I can so any relpies are greatly appreciated! Happy New Year! refrakt.
