Hi all, second post now. I have 6 afghan kush indoors under 400w hps. Got them as well rooted and established clones about 2 weeks ago and while they are growing at a fast rate and looking healthy i wanted to give them more co2 to try and push them faster so i have decided to brew 30L of hard cider in my grow room. Am expecting around 8.5% alcohol so this means it ought to be alot of co2. Has anyone tried this before? Is there anything i should be aware of that i havn't thought of or could this be a good idea?

So I haven't been able to get the full potential from this particular plant. (Original GDP) She was cracked late & I didnt really care about her too much. After successfully taking my first clones from my #1 plant this year now I was thinking of cloning her. Today when I finally got around to going to take a clone I realized she had an abundance of pistils & has started flowering. Not far of course but thought Id ask some peeps with some more experience before I waste my time trying. I've read about re-vegging & all that jazz but just want to take a clone, get it to root, transplant & keep it alive in veg. Check the pic is it too far or possible?

The pictured plant is from the SSS all stars mixed bag. I think it is Nanan Bouclou. It is still stretching. I germinated 8 seeds from the mix. 3 were hermies. 3 were in 50 ltr pots outside and went straight into flower and were infested with caterpillars, they were shitting and pissing all over the plants and with the wet humid weather ended up with mould. Saved a few buds but mostly ruined. Thats life outdoors. The pictured plant is not far away from 3 meters tall and no sign of flowering yet. I have a smaller version in a different spot that is still stretching as well. Medium in garden bed is used canna terra potting mix from last season, worm castings and light soil,…

I've decided I'm just not cleaning/sterilising my room and tank well enough and hence the rot problems I have been having. Plant genetics has played some role, however I want a super clean room at the end of each grow to make sure I'm not passing anything on. Been doing some research and H2O2 seems popular, but I want to be thorough. So, what should I use to make it super clean and kill any fungus and spores and bugs throughout the room? Also what can I give to advanced clones (200mm pots) and/or young clones (new cuttings) to make sure the coco growing medium and plant is free of fungus?

Hey guys I am looking at starting another grow and this time I want to experiment with LEDs (I understand the pros and cons from both using and not using LEDs) I would like to run the whole grow at 12volts. Meaning I would need to find 12 volt Led grow lamps suitable enough to supply 4 plants. Have any of you done this and if so please share your story (or link me to it). Now I found some strip lights on ebay and wondered if anyone has had any experience with them or not or if anyone would know if they suitable. obviously i would need more than a meter. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1M-Plant-Grow-Light-12V-Waterproof-5050-LED-Strip-Light-Hydroponic-RED-BLUE-5-1-/12148023…

My PH is always very low (about 3.5) after I add my nutes to my water. I have been using some stuff off Ebay to bring the PH up but it seems to be using it up pretty quick. I want to find a more affordable solution, after some research I figured these 2 products together could be OK to bring my PH up while mainly using the Calcium Hydroxide with the Potassium bicarbonate included about every 4th watering, Calcium Hydroxide - builders lime - http://www.bunnings.com.au/australian-builders-3kg-hydrated-lime-_p0760379Potassium bicarbonate http://www.bunnings.com.au/eco-organic-garden-500g-eco-fungicide_p2961113 any opinions on this and if you think it will work fine? I u…

Hey all .. ok I've got an led dwc closet grow going and I'm feeling like I'm fighting a losing battle , my skywalker kush is 6 weeks from seed I had heat issues with temps at 35°c and res temps close to 30°c until 2 weeks ago when I purchased a chiller Wich bought res Temps down to 18°c , the clawing has been present whole grow so far I thought it was a heat issue and chiller would fix it but it hasn't then I thought nitrogen toxicity as leaves were dark green as well as clawing , did another res change 2 days ago adding some calmag as I'm using distilled water , the new growth is a lighter colour now but the clawing still remains and new growth is also clawing , could 1…

Hi guys Thought I'd put up a tutorial on how to roll a "Cuban Seed Splitter". I devised this method a couple of seasons ago just buy chance and a bit of ingenuity. I used to use the tried and true method of paper towel on a plate but after coming up with this I haven't looked back. The Cuban Seed Splitter is just a modified version of the paper towel on plate method but needs less attention due to its reduced surface area resulting in less evaporation. I hope you like it Take 3 sheets of top shelf paper towel. Don't use the cheep stuff because it will tear easier and kind of mash up after a couple of times checking the seeds. Next, fold the 2 outside sheets onto …

Anybody encountered strains that are reluctant to start flowering? I have 2 'what i believe to be' sativa dominant strains' growing in dwc had 4 weeks veg. Have been in 12/12 cycle for 3.5 weeks and not showing any sings of flowering. They are in a 4x4 grow tent with a 600w hps. Ph is 6.5 average temp is 29c and humidity sits around 37-42%. They all apear healthy but just wont seem to flower. No light leaks in dark period either. Anybody else had any plants do this?

Have an interesting problem, my plant has been in flower for 6 to 7 weeks and what has happened is some buds are looking ready for flushing and draining but have had a few buds look like they are still having growth spurts? Has anyone come across this in the past? Also, should I flush and cut the buds that are ready or wait till they are all ready

This is a typical 'Sea of Green' or SoG op. Clones receive zero veg time; once they have a good set of roots, they go in to flower. The method of putting clones in to flower with no vegging time keeps plants relatively short, to about 33-36" (~1 metre), which better suits the foliar penetration depth of indoor artificial lighting. When I first started growing, I loaded all 4 of my flood trays with cuttings on the same day. This meant all the plants were ready to harvest at the same time, too. Harvesting/manicuring is a time consuming, tedious task- and plants which are ready to harvest have the shelf-life of lettuce, it seems. I decided to break up the job to 1/4…
