General Cultivation Q&A

First time grower got couple of plants both 1.5 months old. Have noticed some (what I assume is) pre flower little caps. Please see attached photos and if you know either way pls let me know. From my little knowledge I would guess that plant 1 is female but plant 2 male.

I have been addicted to canna coco coir for a long time, now my supplier says he no longer wants to sell it because he cant make enough profit from it. He wants to sell me cyco everything, seems there is a good profit in cyco products Does anyone have any experience with other coirs. ? I have been averaging a gram+ per watt and don't want to stuff up using crap coco. Any help is appreciated )))

Can somebody please PM me a high yielding but compact strain that's durable? Or even clones or something similar. Also where one could acquire said items please PM me. Kindest regards.

I got a job in the city and need it so will have to pack up my grow closets and put it all away for another day. Unfortunately I was just getting to the stage after 8 months where I would start to get a regular supply so I don't have anything saved for the future besides my small stash and what I have in flower. I would hope my next place will allow me to grow a couple of discreet plants but I would have to wait sometime to make sure it's all OK. Hey guys first time major post, just got a few questions and was hoping for any tips my current room setup is 4x600w hps in 100% perlite with (4)50L pots on top of a squat pot with oxygen to the roots, and a 200L res. On a timer that feeds every 3 Hours for 15 minutes. at the moment im vegging 4 girls each 1 under a 600W on 20/4. the space i am working with is around 2.6 long by 2.3. so my current goal was to get a minimum of 3.5 pound from the room along with a pre raise veg tent 1.5mx1.5m in my other room with 4 girls under a 400w MH in the same setup ready to go in once my others are done, although im not there yet. so my questions are, is my goal obtainable? i curr…

Hey guys got a bit of an issue, currently growing 3 THC Bomb Autoflowers however one of them has sprouted in the very worst place. While I was planting the germinated seeds, I dropped a seed and couldn't see it in the hole I dug or anywhere for that matter. After giving up I placed a thin layer of dirt over the entire pot incase it didn't make it into the hole. Well sure enough it sprouted and with my luck it happened to be on the very edge of the pot- I tried to sprinkle some dirt around it and have a little bit of dirt between the stem and the pot. I mentioned in my Diary that my plant was yellowing from the bottom after its move(better sun position) and release of the LST but is otherwise healthy and has been in flower about 2 weeks. One poster suggested upping the feeding frequency, another poster suggested in could be root bound. It could be root bound when you consider the following This a Diesel Auto planted 145 days ago into a 410mm pot and did not begin to flower until about 135 days. Since this has been in the pot for so long (150 days) I would have thought by now it may just need to be re-potted because if it wasn't root bound now she can't be far away from it... I purchased about 5 seeds last year, one I screwed up so I was left with 4 seedlings. One was a male which was great and it was a really nice looking aromatic male too, So the male has been kept as a breeder and I now have a slowly growing stash of seeds. I crossed the make with the 3 females. One of the females is an ugly plant but it has one heck of a kick when I smoke it. The branches are bare with few nodes and it would be the type of plant you would weed out but as it has such a nice smoke. It also gets what looks like nutrient burn really easy and many of the leaves get brown and crisp but I give the same nutrients to the other plants and they love them. it's a…
