I'm wondering about the nature of S1 "selfed" seeds! or rather, the variation or stability they'll grow into. I'm assuming S1's don't result in identical-to-the-mother offspring, as nice as that might be, but rather something more along the lines of F2's? In particular, my friend fighting cancer who's CBD-hunting got some Thunderstruck by Sin City Seeds, which are S1's of the ACDC chemotype (24:1 CBD:THC) found in the Cannatonic strain by Resin Seeds, which seems to be the base for most high-CBD strains at the moment. Will humidity at 25 to 35% slow my plant grow drastically? I'm doing everything down to the t except awaiting on a humidifer and plants seem like they need one? Also I'm in my second week of vegging from nice size clones that had a good root system.

Hey Guys, This is my first indoor grow with random seeds. 1 looks to be some sort of indica/sativa cross while the other seems to be showing more pure sativa charactiristics. Growing in a 1.2x1.2x2m tent, 6" adjustable fan for exhaust and passive intake. 3 x 4" oscillating fans to move air round. medium is coco and 600w HPS with digital(lucius maximus) ballast. Guys &gals, Have a stupid newbie question from stupid newbie grower, If after mixing normal nutrient regime + additives,only reading 270-290 ppms When measuring runoff,does'nt go over 540 ppms. Does this mean 1; nutes are'nt strong enough. 2; level of nutes in pots,salts hav'nt built up. 3; TDS meter belongs with rice cooker graveyard or 4; WTF or FIK. Much love my peeps

Hi all. So I've been scouring heaps of posts here about outdoor soil to grow in and there seems to be a number of people who recommend Searles 5 in 1 (of you can find it). Well, I think I did. (See my attached pic) I'm guessing you mix this stuff into your soil or potting mix? And as I'll be growing in pots, how do I know how much to use and do I mix it all through the potting mix or just through the top few centimeters? Sorry for asking such newbie questions but I've never done outdoor before. Cheers.

Hi everyone. My mate just got himself a plug that tells you how many watts a item or items are using and tested his equipment. His fans were on par or just over by a few watts which was good but he tested his two 400 watts hps and they were both pulling between 970 - 980 watts at the wall?? I was like that's not correct man somethings wrong there and suggested he upgraded to some new magnetic ballasts or go digital because that's way to much being pulled for a 400 watt in my opinion. Anyone have any ideas why they might be pulling this much? the lights are working fine and he has done a few runs.

Howdy Folks, I am trying to think of a method of planting seeds that would suit Hydroponics, I am using the clay balls and was not wanting to use jiffy pots as i would rather keep the dirt out of the system. I have used rockwool previously but am not that happy with them as they tend to hold too much water when in the balls. I was thinking maybe i might try some shredded tissues in a paper cup and when they have grown a bit turn it upside down and hopefully end up with a paper plug that the roots should grow out through ok. I have started the seeds in paper towels at the moment but will soon need to move them to somewhere more stable. Any suggestions? Cheers Z
