General Cultivation Q&A

hey just a few questions, if a seed or clone is started indoors under light cycle 18/6 then moved outdoors after bout 2 - 3 weeks will it start to bud outdoors straight away, or would it be best to slowly drop the light the plant gets indoors before moving it out, like from 18/6 to 16/8 and keep dropping the light by an hour or two every few days ? any ideas or info would be great,

What can i do to make sure i have the most potent, killa-nugz out?

g'day all I was just lookin at my plants and they just dont look that healthy for starters on one of em the lower leaves keep goin yellow and brown I thought it might be from under fert it went away for 3-4 days or so without doin anything(that I know of)and came back again overnight so I have no clue what it was.Sound familiar to any of you guys? if so please help me prozac

Hey guys For my third grow ive gone for headstone clones (from spc, would reccomend to any1) Now the plants i have are about 2ft tall and are extremely healthy. In fact there the most healthyest plants i have ever seen. This is all good. But these 2 ft plants are in huge pots with even HUGER root systems. Now the reason why i worry is that these pots are larger then the ones i used last grow and the plants were twice the size. The only differance between grows have been. The 1st grow i used an unknown strain The 1st grow was with ozmocoat potting mix.......This one is with CANNA COCO. Now the thing is these plants seem to slow growth to almost zip when t…

I have just planted kc33xmango and kc33xkush seeds and i was wondering if i could put them under my 400watt HPS for warmth? I plan on putting a sandwich bag on em with a rubber band to make a green house effect. Otherwise i have found they dry out to quickly. What u think?

What I'm trying to do is keep a few different mothers, up to 6 or so in a small space. Maybe even in a rubber storage container like my cloning tub I'm hoping to use really small containers for the bubblers, like the large size round margerine tubs. Just have an airstone in each with the plant sitting in the lid. The plants would be small enough that they could be self supporting on the lid, no net cup or medium. Only need to take 3-4 cuttings at a time. They would all be fed through a Pepsi bottle style res. I'd need to give the roots regular hair cuts, and keep water and weak nutes up to the system and hopefully thats it, and I can have all the mothers I need …

I've been growing for like 1 month now (indoors) mabye abit more and the biggest I've got is about 12cm with 6 sets of leaves and judging by your pics of 1 monthers I'd say somethings wrong.Any ideas on what it might be would be great,I'm growing under 2 4 foot flouros 36w and they just dont seem to be growin right please help Prozac

Hey,my first question is has anyone had success growing without C02 when air temps are as high as 32 degrees celsius but the res/nutes temp is kept at a constant 22 degrees.......Cause thats what afoaf has and everything appears fine............. SEcondly,this weird thing is happening with GH 3 PART ,after filling a 50 litre res with nutes a ppm of 1200 is got,but checked an hour later and its down to 800 and the pump hasnt even been switched on..WTF...any ideas ?????

Hey all as u have seen in other posts i am in the process of my first grow...... 22 seedlings under a 400watt HPS. I plan on ending up with about 4or5. Anywase what kinda fertilizer should i be using? i am going for sompthing reasonably priced and easy to get preferably Big-w :-D just down the road. When shoudl i start applying? If u dont know which brand to use what nbumbers should i be looking for on the box?
