Hey hows it going. At the moment as you know my seeds are just germinating, just getting little tails on em now. I went up yesty and bought Blood N Bone Fertiliser and also Pot N Peat potting mix. Now after the seeds are done i put the potting mix in then about 1cm under i put the seed sprout down ? Then pour water on it till the water drains out the botton om the pot. Then put them in a cupboard what has been painted white. I have a few questions i hope you can answer thankyou. What type of lighting ? (Someone cheap i dont have alot of money) How long before they begin to flower ? If i am using 6 pots and how much lighting like wattage do i need How much do i nee…

i have 3 clones 12 days old in rockwool , been spraying them with 25% fert. 4 times a day.As the leaves are starting to yellow slightly i am wondering is it time to re-pot them, there are roots about half a inch long, if yes what medium, would 50/50 potting mix and perlite be ok. Advice appreciated,and thanks in advance.

Hello hows it going. Now at the moment i am germinating my seeds. I bought some potting mix today, 6 pots, and some blood n bone fertiliser. Now i was wondering after the 6 have germinated i place one in each pot. But do i fill the pot half up with potting mix then put the seed in sprout down then fill over it. How deep does the seed have to be ? Do i sprinkle a bit of blood n bone on each or mix it in ? How much water should i use in the seedling stages if i am using 2 high powered lights (Not sure what yet) in a closet ? Any help would be great thanks. Write back

ok im planning to build a stealth grow box in an old dresser so i guess the dimensions would be about 2fw x 2fd x 4fh. it will be set up for SCROG growing in soil. so here are the questions: 1)i was planning to have two 100w hps lights mounted on top with holes cut through for the light to cut back on heat, but after reading for a while on overgrow im starting to think about putting in some of those energy saving bulbs that screw into normal light sockets. Should i stick to hps or move to fluros? or a combination of both, and where should i have my fluros positioned for best effect? above or below the screen? 2)because i am growing from seed, not clones i am…

hello ive been aways on holidays, to come back to see that my plant is ready to harvest the hairs are red/dark red. But at the bottom of the plant the are still new ones growing because they are still clear/white colour, shood i chop top off and leave to still grow. or harvest whole lot? Also can someone step me through the procedures of harvesting (hanging in dark, what to cut etc) thanks for your help

So i thought great i am going to start using rain water. Well i woke up this morening and for some reason i decided to test the water again and it came to 7.8 OMFG. I though WOW! whats going on so i grabbed some ph7 calibration buffer and my meter is reading perfect. All i wanna know is has anyone ever had water fluctuate that much overnight? is this normall? is it possible that the plastic container is leeching acidity into my water? any help would be very gratefu…

OK is this stuff possible to clean? i have just spent 30min cleaning one buckets worth of the stuff and i put it in my pot hooked everything up and after 10min the resi was dirty AGAIN!!! and had sedient in the bottom. Should i keep going or should i just not worry about it?

I have a flood and drain setup in a closet with 400hps, I cannot find anywhere laymans terms on how to scrog, or sog, i know they involve nets or sea of green etc BUT how do you actually do this?? do you veg under the screen and then turn it to flower and as it grows through the screen bend it over so its above the screen and bent over????? or what?? how many plants of different strains can be grown together, can I sog different strains??? theres heaps of info on what scrog and sog are but nothing that tells me actually HOW to do it????

G'day all I just noticed a small coincidence the plant with the deformed leaves I have seems to be the only plant that the lower leaves aren't dying on there all in the same potting mix,same water,same everything anyone know why the lower leaves are dyin on 3 but not the deformed one?

On ebay theres this item called quantumponics, anyone tried this or know anything on it??? they sound like a good idea,

Hi Guys, Im still reading up before my first grow, been learning for a few weeks now. Im still undecided about the method I will use. I want one that does not require too much maintenance and thought the bubbler garden looked OK. Does anyone use bubbler buckets and how good do they work? Thanks heaps

Elefunk just PM'd me this link to a hydro shop in NSW, I phoned them and ordered two Son-T-Agro at $32 each plus $7 postage and $6.40 for insurance (10% of value), all up that comes to $77.40, I was going to make a trip to the shop to buy two new ones next week, at $56 each.
