G'day, Is it possible to keeps clones alive and healthy under flouros for approx. 8 weeks while my other plants are budding under the hps. Or should I buy another hps for vegging my clones? Thanks dwyndorf

Ok well unluckily my first grow I get 2 males from 2 plants :mellow: I have 3 seedlings though about 2 weeks old. I'm getting ready to translplant them from the little cups I have em in now. I don't want the same shit I got on my first grow so I got a couple of questions. 1. If I let the males keep growing (might as well not waste em and get some seeds out of it) will they affect the seedlings at all? 2. What are some ways of increasing the percent of females when growing? List some specific nutes if possible. Hi all, Being looking a doing a aeroponic grow to see what all the hype is about. Have usually grown in ebb/flow or bubbler bucket system. The aeroponic system will very similar to the following link:- http://www.ki7xh.com/aeroponics.htm The only differance will be that their will be 10 pipes laid flat together 1.5m long, with holes cut every 150mm to suit a SOG style of grow. Should end up with a 100 site grow table 1.5m x 1.5m - lighting will consist of a 1000watt hps air cooled light. - and resi tank will be 100 litres. Any adive growing with aeroponics over ebb/flow would be greatful. Regards Jack

When do I know when my seedlings are good to clone from? Inorder to send clones to 12/12 and find out if i'm having a girl or boy? This is to keep the seedlings veging and not slowing them down or switching them to 12/12 themselves... I heard somthing about when the shoot splits into 2 then there mature? I am not to sure!

just after some info on ventilation and fans . i,ve positioned my outake fan at the top of my cupboard but im wondering where i should be putting the intake fan . does the fan have to be blowing directly onto the plants or as long as there is fresh air getting inside

I've been using white vinegar for PH down for the last couple of months, it seems to work ok, a little less toxic than the regula stuff from the hydro shop, hydrogen peroxide and some sort of acid, cant remeber without it in front of me. does any one have a reliable ph up along the same line of vinegar,

I want to change the way I grow. I want 9 smaller plants under 1000watt HPS instead of 2 medium. Should I keep a mother solely for the purpose of getting the clones. I have read the you must periodically root prune the mother is this correct or will product such as Rhizotonic from canna do the same job? OR Should I just clone off the 9 smaller ones each time.I tend to cut the tops out of them anyway to create vigorous lower growth so I will have the cuttings anyway but is it advisable to take clones of a plant that has only been vegging for 1 week? Would appreciate your thoughts and advice.Thanx

I just recently got my hands on some seeds and I am planning to grow a few plants and I'm not sure about a few things - 1. How often should I water the plants and how much water should I use? 2. How much fertiliser should I use? 3. How much light do the plants need? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

i read something about using N-P-K for outdoor grow. is it any good? i wanna use this coz it's cheap and available. They have 2: (0-10-10) and (15-30-15)., and my questions are: 1. what's the difference? 2. which one is better? 3. when do i have to use them? germinating?? vegging? or flowering?? and how much and how often?? just one other thing, after seeing the first leaves during germination, can i put them outside under the shade or should i wait (for what sign?)
