Oxygen Saturated Water

Recommended Posts

Could anyone please tell me what is the max percentage of "oxygen" saturated in water at 20 degress C, that can be obtained?

Jack

 i believe that water can hold the max amount of oxygen at 72f, (about 23c?). i like to keep my water temp. between 70f--75f. , i have a good thermometor that monitors water temp, .

i find that if the water temp is ok then hot conditions in grow space do not clobber the plants as badly. if the ambient temp of growing space is too hot, thus heating water, i add ice to the water reservoir until viable temp is reached, a definate + for hydro growing.

good luck!

More oxygen in cold water, Less at altitude, Less with salinity not sure how other variables will affect the outcome though.

It all depends on the salinity, temperature, altitude and general weather conditions.....this can change by the minute.

This is correct.
