Could anyone please tell me what is the max percentage of "oxygen" saturated in water at 20 degress C, that can be obtained? Jack

I use a 50 letre res hooked upto a u shaped pvc, Now, every nute change I usually take all the plants out and clean the PVC, now i really cant be fucked doing this anymore, is it ok to just run water through the system for 5 mins? would that hurt the plants? and then get them straight back on nutes......... Is this ok?

Hi all, Just wondering if any hydro growers out there have used nutes by the name of Gen-x (www.grotek.net)? I'm currently using Grow-rite & Bud-rite (great product)! Gen-x looks interesting in the way that it's primarily a 3 part mixture in which you change the ratios according to what stage of development the plant is in. I'm about to flower my girls in about 7 days & I have a trial pack of Gen-x that I wish to try. Any feedback on this product would be appreciated.

Hi, I put my tree into flower 15th of March so she's about 6 weeks into flower and doing nicely, lots of budsites, have tied her down heaps and getting a nice canopy of greenery happening So my Q is, Approx how long will she take to finish flowering? I dont know what the strain is, just seed out of the bottom of an oz bag. Also, I have been using "Head-On Grow" A 1 Part nute feed. I think the plant has been getting a bit less stinky than at the start of flowering. So, should I use more nutes now the plant is getting bigger and has been put into flower? And is it ok to switch nutrients half-way through a grow? Im thinking of switching it to a 2-part style nute, I have h…

What are is the best way to cure weed? My mate and I have tried the usual hang upside down and in paper bags tricks but were wondering if there was something more specific we could do. I remember seeing a really complicated method in 'High Times' a couple of years back involving about three weeks and a number of different steps that was supposed to seriously boost the strength of the weed but I'm blowed if I can find the mag now. As 'High Times' is quite difficult to find in South Africa where we live I thought you guys might be able to help as I've only heard good things about Oz homegrown (and growers).

G'day, Is it possible to keeps clones alive and healthy under flouros for approx. 8 weeks while my other plants are budding under the hps. Or should I buy another hps for vegging my clones? Thanks dwyndorf

Ok well unluckily my first grow I get 2 males from 2 plants :mellow: I have 3 seedlings though about 2 weeks old. I'm getting ready to translplant them from the little cups I have em in now. I don't want the same shit I got on my first grow so I got a couple of questions. 1. If I let the males keep growing (might as well not waste em and get some seeds out of it) will they affect the seedlings at all? 2. What are some ways of increasing the percent of females when growing? List some specific nutes if possible. Hi all, Being looking a doing a aeroponic grow to see what all the hype is about. Have usually grown in ebb/flow or bubbler bucket system. The aeroponic system will very similar to the following link:- http://www.ki7xh.com/aeroponics.htm The only differance will be that their will be 10 pipes laid flat together 1.5m long, with holes cut every 150mm to suit a SOG style of grow. Should end up with a 100 site grow table 1.5m x 1.5m - lighting will consist of a 1000watt hps air cooled light. - and resi tank will be 100 litres. Any adive growing with aeroponics over ebb/flow would be greatful. Regards Jack

When do I know when my seedlings are good to clone from? Inorder to send clones to 12/12 and find out if i'm having a girl or boy? This is to keep the seedlings veging and not slowing them down or switching them to 12/12 themselves... I heard somthing about when the shoot splits into 2 then there mature? I am not to sure!

just after some info on ventilation and fans . i,ve positioned my outake fan at the top of my cupboard but im wondering where i should be putting the intake fan . does the fan have to be blowing directly onto the plants or as long as there is fresh air getting inside

I've been using white vinegar for PH down for the last couple of months, it seems to work ok, a little less toxic than the regula stuff from the hydro shop, hydrogen peroxide and some sort of acid, cant remeber without it in front of me. does any one have a reliable ph up along the same line of vinegar,

i was tolded by someone who is kcnowledgible, that you can add baked beans to your nutrigents, and pack them around the stem in the last few week and it adds bulk to the overall vigoure of the vegetable matter and associated bi-product.Does anyong youse this tecnece?He said the protein is convergeted into sugars and it add a lot in over all THC glands.I always get bad and poor results, I hav emy room at 124 farenheifgt. but the oscillations of the fan seem to be out of sink with the duckthing, causeing negative bio feedbak from the anti gravity distortian module in my ballash.
