Hey ppl, need to know will this work. young bagseeds indoor under 24hr, no sign of sex. if i take cuttings of each one get them rooted under 12/12 they should show sex pretty quick yes? Trace each cutting back to donor and that will tell me the sex in advance, so i know what to get rid of even if they haven't shown sex. will that work 100% ? Thanks :thumbsup

Hey all, just a quick Q... I have 1 plant (Purple Haze) that turned hermy, outdoors. It is in third week flowering. I would like to remove some (or as many) of his pollen pods (little male ball things), so that the female parts won't get pollinated too quickly and stop producing resin. So my question, if i was to remove with tweezers the male pods that look almost ready to pop, would that cause the plant too much stress. Or being a hermy, would it frantically try to produce more male parts in order to successfully reproduce? There are a couple that look about ready to burst, so any help would be great, ASAP. :scratchin Thanks.

So, amazingly, Ive gotten to the stage where its time to change the lighting to 12/12.......... When do I change to bloom nut's ? I think I remember reading some where to stay with "grow nut's " for the first week of 12/12. Any thoughts... think I worked pics out here she be................

I'm wondering if I can do away with the clay/verm/perl mix I have in the trays underneath these tubes - the roots can grow straight out of the bottom of the tubes and could sit in a layer of nutes .. instead of growing down into the base tray medium? If I put a 'skirt' around the base of the tubes to stop lite gettin to the roots and changed the nutes in the base tray regularly, would this likely give better growth than the current setup? :scratchin - If that'd work I can just transplant into a tube of clay balls sittining over the tray of nutes. Or would it be better to fill the base tray with clayballs instead of just nutes? I am about to transplant some clonez so…

Hey guys and gals, My next grow is DWC, 2 plants under 400W HPS. Same cabinet is the first one i ever grew in and nothing has changed about it. The dimensions are 1.8m(height) x 1m(length) x 60cm(depth). Exhaust fan is 250mm at top with a blowing fan down the bottom. Just waiting on clones and hopefully should be here tomorrow or thursday. Will get another cheap digi cam and put some photos up. Thanks, Kel.

Hi all can't remember who posted the link to this stuff (sorry but thanks) I went there and decided to buy some for me ... ended up experimenting with ma babies too - http://www.sportsoxyshot.com/index.php I have added about 5mls to my 500ml plant mister and I started giving it to my clonez thru the leaves and also added about the same amount to the water they have been standing in, in the trays - started misting the older plants with it also, every couple of days. anyone got any thoughts on whether it would be of any benefit adding some to the nute rez? I'm not sure if the other rez contents will cancel out or prevent the o2 from havig a beneficial effect in the…

Hey all was surfing the net and came across this product http://www.nomercy.nl/en/framesets/fs-prod-co2tab.html it states that it can use a tablet to deliver co2 via the roots. If these work it will make co2 available to everyone not just commerical growers. The cost saving could be huge, no AC/computers/regulators or gas bottles required. Was allways of the theory that plants could not uptake co2 via roots only the leaves - look like i could be wrong. Jack

G'day, I was at bunnings today, and was looking at the rooting products . Came across "Yates Clonex, purple rooting gel", looked on the label, and its Growth technologie's stuff. Cost $6.50 and from what I can tell is the same as the stuff in the hydro shop.... :scratchin

I had the oppitunity to try some White Rhino last night from a good home grower.......And I'm not to sure what to say? It was a earth moving experience!!!! Nothing short of FANTASTIC :reallyexcited: Read a bit about this strain, but how does it go outdoors? 1, Ok i have been looking into doing a DWC grow with 6 pots at max, would i be better off getting one pump that can handel all 6 pots at once or got one pump to each pot or a pump to do say 2-3 at once. 2, How oftern do you change the nutes in the bubbler and would i need a meter to test the ppm or do i just go buy what the nutes say to make them up at for feeding or am i better off getting a ppm tester to cheack nutes are rite(i will have to save my $$$ to get a test meter) 3, Now when you put ya babys into the net pots what is the best thing to use clay balls or perlite or a mix of both. 4, Nowwhat are some of the good snd the bad points of DWC, all info would be …
