Shade Cloth Question

will a plant react in anyway to different colour shade cloths? colours in mind are green and another looks like a dark earth redish brown colour

any help much appreciated

I shouldn't think they will effect the plant differntly as such but some shade cloths undoubtably block more or less light than others , and that is realy whats important for us however thinking of it the other way it's important to note that if the difference in light getting through is drematic from one cloth to another then the results will undoubtably also be different

 

 

again though I wouldn't " THINK" it would make a differance using green or whatever you wanted provided they stop aroudn the same amount of light you should be getting the same results under both

 

I can only speak from the experiance I myself have had though and I have never noticed a major difference

The colour doesn't matter in terms of the light. Obviously the lighter grade you use the better as you want to minimise the blockage of light. Colour will matter in terms of heat though. Plants under a black shade cloth will be hotter than plants under a light green or cream coloured one.
